So is this as good as the Panasonic Viera TX-P50G20B - 50" Full HD Plasma TV? I know it does not have the Freesat but if Freesat does not matter should I cancel my order and buy this? (saving me £100)

Any thoughts would be great? I have just noticed that the contrast ratio is lower with the Panasonic TX-P50S20B... what difference it would make i'm not sure?

My $0.02: Stick with the G20. From what I've read (mostly on AVForums as Johni's pointed to), it's much better. After all, what's £100 over a few years?

Thanks, will stick with my purchase then

I want a 40" or a 42" and they are still more expensive than the 50"

The Panasonic g20 50" is a great tv don't know about the s20

Ah just get the 50". It will probably dominate the room, but it's lovely to watch.

It will not fit - got a 55 already in another room

I am all for getting the biggest

Ok, seeing as you already have a 55", I will let you off then.

Seems madness that the 40/42 are more expensive.

The G20 is supposed to be much better than this.

Not a bad price, so haven't voted either way, but I expect the 'G' model will drop further soon

I think hotukdeals.com/dea…489 is a better deal, assuming you are close to a richer sounds and they have stock.

In the market for a new T.V. then hang fire. When the 3D versions that don't need the glasses, like the 3DS come out all the others will plummet in price, mark my words!!!

Problem with that is you would never buy anything, there's always something bigger, better, smaller, faster on the horizon

I have been looking for ages for something - best one so far Toshiba 42" LED 42sl738 - £467.98 with 5yr guarantee. Still looking at a 37" Panasonic G20 as an option

Unless I find something else - new TV's are starting to arrive in the next few weeks but with 'new tv prices'

Panasonic don't do a 37" G20 - so you can rule that out.(_;)

Personally I would pay the extra £30 for the G20 from Dixons ... bit of a no brainer really.

Just ordered one, looks pretty good to me

Does this TV do internet TV i.e BBC iPlayer etc,,?

Russ

Bought it, had it 2 days now and

Extemely impressed great tv, great sound and great picture

Would highly recommend this unit and have done to a few friends

How long is the warranty on this? Just 12 months?

Can I just say people are missing out on an amazing Tv if you haven't already bought this

We have now had this for just under a week now and can't fault it, amazing TV for such a little price

this deal should be getting FAR more heat

im after a 50inch... What doesn't this tv have that more expensive ones do...?

Seems good to me, though had issues with my last 42" Panasonic i.e bad buzz and main board faults.

Did anyone get one of these and wall mount by any chance?

Reason I ask is that my stand has been damaged on mine by the kids and would be willing to buy a stand of someone if they wall mounted and still have the stand

If you do please send me a message

Thanks
