Bring vinyl into the 21st century

'Plug 'n' play' USB
High speed transfer option
33 and 45 RPM Buttons (78s are played at 33 and then converted by the software)
Includes all cables to connect with your computer and stereo
PC and Mac compatible

High quality transfer

Includes Audacity software for high speed recording and Bias Soundsoap 2 to restore vinyl
Adjustable pitch - belt drive turntable including a slipmat
Adjustable anti-skating control for increased stereo balancing

This innovative record deck allows you to take your vintage; and not so vintage; collection of vinyl and tapes and convert them, via your PC, into MP3, WAV or WMA digital files or simply copy them to a CD.

Transferring vinyl to digital has often been a complicated and expensive affair. Now you can get high quality sound transfers for an unbelievable price.

The deck simply plugs into the USB port on your PC or Mac; you then either use the software to convert your music, listen to it through your computer or simply play it on the turntable.

You will also receive a trail version of Bias Soundsoap 2, allowing you to remove hiss and pops common to vinyl.

If youve built up an enviable collection, you want to spend your days listen to them not transferring them. The Audacity software will allow you to play the records at double time to speed up the transfer process.

The USB turntable is compatible with any software that supports USB audio input sound cards. All you need to do is simply plug it into a spare USB port; no special drivers are required.

Now theres no excuse not to dust down those sleeves, convert the music and take a trip down memory lane.

That's a great idea.
Is this a sale price or the usual price?

These have been this price on Firebox for a while now

Sure, but if the 10% discount voucher still works, this has to be better deal.

Voting this cold, as these have been the exact same price for well over a year now.

I purchased this over a year ago when it first came out and the price hasnt changed at all - thats the same price I paid

This has been this price for around 2 years?

I looked at this option a couple of months back – a I have a large vinyl collection to dispose of. I was not convinced it was good value. It does not have dedicated software (audacity is available free). Also – as someone has pointed out it has been at this price since it came out.

The Bush MTT turntable can be picked up from as little as £30 and can do the same job except you have to plug it in to your soundcard. As it has a phone pre-amp this is not a problem. That is the route I decided to go. The turntable has very good reviews and does not take up a lot of space.

I'm looking at the ]Terratec iVinyl as I already have a turntable and just need a simple USB solution. Missed it on iBood recently so hope it'll come round again.
