There are many types of these storage media, I checked it but could't find it. I would appreciate help.

this is "gaming storage" what ever that is supposed to mean.

I would just buy the normal one, as I doubt there is any difference.

Was £30.95 when I bought one this morning.
Still is £30.95 just bought
Would not rely in refurbished for data. It’s worth the extra few quid to get a good known brand new with years warranty. Data loss or corruption is a massive hassle when it happens

A brand new drive could fail on day 2. A refurbished drive could last 8 years. Being new is no guarantee of a longer life. If you've got data on any drive, you NEED a backup system in place.
Mentions USBC but doesn’t look like a USBC cable?

There are 2 models a slim and a fat model on the other link, the fat model is slightly cheaper.

It’s literally all nonsense. “HD” games aren’t smaller than 4K games either
What’s the difference with all the different colours available? I’m after photo storage.

And which thickness is best to go for?

That's why you have regular backups. Same can happen for a brand new drive.

This is a known brand. If you don't trust them when they say refurbished why trust them when they're new?

Did you pay by Paypal?

If so, WD's store basically stuffs up quite a lot of Paypal transactions - i.e. takes the money but doesn't process the shipment. I'm still waiting for a refund from 16th December, and WD don't seem to give a flying fig (it's apparently being "expedited to finance")
Hi there yes it was PayPal.

Hi there yes it was PayPal.

You'll need to call WD's support line to get your refund sorted then. Here's the number you need from their website: 0800 0488 059 (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM GMT)

May be an idea to keep this thread updated, as a lot of us have been affected.

HTH
Thank you
Still not received mine either
I called and mine still states In Process but they state that it has already shipped ? They have no tracting details and they have stated that it has been escalated ....which will take 5-7 working days lol.
Utterly useless support .
