Extra 20% Off In Debenhams Up To 25% Event Nov 19 - 24

I understand that details of the event have already been posted here:

hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…s-/

I just wanted to inform you that if you open a card on the event you will save a further 20% on top of the discount! (10% off for 7 days & a further 10% off for the 3 day event)
If you are already a card holder then you will save an extra 10% and get a free gift (subject to availability)

I know at this time of year people are being advised to stay away from store cards, but if you're intending to purchase a lot then you will save massive amounts! Plus you usually get a FREE GIFT (such as a full size Lindt chocolate reindeer- I know they did that last year)

You can come into store the next day to pay the account off or (providing you give the Sales Assistant your email address) you can pay it off online. If you'd rather wait until the end of the month then you can send a cheque throught he post or pay it off over the phone.
As long as you pay the account off in time (it will say on your first statement when you need to pay it by) you do not pay any extra charges and you never have to use the card again!

It's a really good deal with the discount that is already on offer, and definatly worth thinking about!

make sure if you take up the offer of their card you pay it off every month or else you will be stung for charges galore

I Stated that very clearly & even suggested ways of paying off your card. Can't really say any more than that.

i used to work for them and they have one of the highest interest rates around - and i think npeople need to be made very much aware of this fact - GE Capital are merciless

Well, like I said, I have warned people, there's not much else I can say. Obviously you would know to check the interest rate if you were opening a card, but also, like I said, as long as you pay it off you do not get charged. At the end of the day you shouldn't open it unless you have the money to pay it back anyway & if you DO have the money to pay it back then it saves you an extra 20%, which is pretty good. And also, the interst rate is lower than it used to be.

Can anyone verify that you get an extra 20% off if you apply to their store card on top of their up to 25% off sale?
