Any comments on the cold votes? £29.99 is the cheapest I've seen for the E14 Colour new, so seemed like a good deal!

Because people on here that vote are fickle and like to vote without consideration of what is on offer, all they see is a bulb for £30. They Ignore or don't know the product or that they're usually priced at £45 each.

Heat from me. Picked up two White Ambience to replace my White’s in the hallway.

It's a great price, but the main demographic on hukd are just looking for cheap biscuits. You could post £10 hue colour gu10 and people would still vote cold.

I'm sure you're right. Guess £30 for a bulb is a lot if you're not into it....

This one seems to be going down better if anyone needs a couple of bulbs, a bridge & a Google Home Mini:

I don’t get the cold votes either, as Hue deals usually go hot, despite the anti-hue brigade.

These are some of the best prices I’ve ever seen.

Maybe it’s Maplin they’re voting cold, as you’ll not get much customer service if they break in a months time, but they should still be covered by Philips.
Heat from me! Good deal
What the best price currently on a single E27 Colour
Great price for single pack gu10. Just needed one more to finish downstairs. Heat added

£39.99 at Maplin I beleive.
Is the maplin stock check on the website still accurate? There's a few bits I want, but I don't want to travel 20 miles to the nearest store with stock if it's going to be sold out when I get there.

No idea. Probably right to be cautious. I think all the bulbs were free delivery only anyway.
It's not the bulbs I'm after - I'll post a deal for it after I've picked mine up. I'll try my luck at Curry's first and see if they'll price match (not holding my breath though)
Ordered 16 GU10s

About to move house, so plumping for the GU10s that we’re previously ‘too expensive’. Currently I have normal MegaMan bulbs and a Qubino relay which works, but it doesn’t feel right

Don’t get me wrong, paying just shy of £300 for some bulbs hurts, but with these, my new home will be fully Hue’d up. No shortcuts this time around!

I would be interested to hear what smart things can add to the Hue experience

I use OpenHAB, and have an almost fully automated home

...until I move and have to do it all again.

You’re right about an addiction though.

I’m predominantly z-wave, hue and Somfy blinds. The Ring doorbell is the only thing that fails me, and falls out of my openHAB ecosystem, due to lack of API
