should be free

Use the BT Sport App on laptop then connect to tv with hdmi no charge, Simples.

£5 extra for a signal your already getting, rip off

If you just simply change the cards over, it'll cost no extra to watch in another room.

Should be free.

The whole Ofcom ruling to make sure no one company can own all the rights is worse for customers.

When BT take over the Champ League, they'll increase their prices dramatically.

Lol
Voted cold.

Blatant rip off should be included as part of multi room subscription !!!

BT...No thanks.

Smallclone you do realise you can't just swap the cards don't you?

What a silly comment, BT have finally stepped up and tried to compete and offer the consumer something worthwhile where others have failed.

Get BT Broadband and you get BT sport for free or get plus net and get it for £5 p/m.... Sky put prices up each and every year and charge an extortionate amount for the complete package. Do you think they would charge less if they had the monopoly on sporting rights??

BT are planning to start charging for the Champions League. It will not be free to Broadband customers.

You're going to have to pay Sky + BT to see all the matches, which means you'll end up paying more. That's why it's hurt consumers.

@tom11lfc, why should it be included?
You pay Sky for there services, of which multi room is one (you pay for that as well)
BT SPORT is not a sky channel, it's independent and as such you need to pay the supplier.
@MJAVFC1, so they will drastically increase the price from free to all bb subscribers to?
Yeah I'd much rather pay the sky charges.........
Honestly, the ignorance of some people in understanding the facts before posting never ceases to amaze.....

Are you having a go at MJACFC1 with your comment? He is right about BT planning to charge for BT Sport with the Champions League. That includes broadband customers too.

I'm a Plusnet customer and wasn't aware of this deal. It's £5.99 per month for the standard BT Sport or £7.49 for the HD version. Very tempting....

Silly?

They've paid well over a billion for the premier and champions league.

Sky won't increase their prices, but they won't reduce them either.

BT have to get this money back some how? What else would you suggest?

Existing broadband subscribers will have to pay as well, but it will likely be cheaper than those that don't have BT broadband.

Sky made the champions league what it is as far as coverage goes, BT have a long way to go to reach that standard.

At the moment you pay (without offers) around £60 to have all the football with BT and Sky.

Another £10 when champ league starts I'd guess.

If it was all with Sky, you'd be paying roughly £45.

Or you'd be paying one as sky would be free to jack their prices up more
