A quick google of how goose and duck feather products collect the feathers should put any decent person off buying these products.

I have one but not that thick. Super comfy but you need to fluff it up every day. Heat for that price. I paid a bloody fortune for mine

The one in the picture don't look like 2.5cm to me................
Pin cushion anyone - awful Amazon reviews, assuming its the same topper:

They always look thicker in the picture because they have been plumped up, once you lie on it , it goes as flat as a pancake. X

Is it 2.5cm or 12.5cm depth?
Can anyone recommend anything for my sofa bed? I have a pull out bed that needs some sort of storable mattress.
Extra deep ? You call 1inch extra deep .

There are two ways to do this, either eider down hand-picked from the abandoned nests of eider ducks (obscenely expensive) or the other way, the remnants from the slaughter & preparation of fowl for eating, which is far cheaper & more available. It's using a product that would otherwise go to waste, be burned as fuel or used as a food additive (E920) that you will have eaten if you ate bread, pizza, doughnuts etc in the past (a decade or longer ago). It could be worse though, when E920 isn't sourced from feathers it comes from hair - including human. There are vegan versions of E920 that, thankfully, are now more used in the UK & EU.

And there's the extremely common third way, ripping the feathers from the live bird
There are brands which are member of PETA and sell ethical down products...

This one seems like mostly feather and not down as they are slightly different.

I think down feather will be uncomfortable to lie down

Products made & sold in the EU are banned from that process & have been for a long time. Some products may slip through the net if directly imported though. Thank goodness we have such high animal welfare standards compared to much of the world!
