Guy at Alton Towers explained that by simply signing up to nowtv again with your existing email address and +1 at the end of it (joebloggs+1@anymail.com) you can take advantage of the free 14 day trial again. Confirmation emails will come to your original email address.

You will have to re enter card details and cancel the free trial to ensure you are not billed after the trial ends.

Please note this Gmail trick works with many services, full information

1. Use (+) to create unlimited siblings of your Gmail address
Yes, that’s possible. Just append a plus (“+”) sign after your email address and after that, you can insert any combination of words or numbers to create any number of personalized email IDs with the same inbox.

For instance, if your current email ID is windowsclub@gmail.com, you can modify email to windowsclub+authors@gmail.com or windowsclub+contactme@gmail.com or use any combination to still receive an email with the same ID, windowsclub@gmail.com.

Hence using this Gmail trick, you will be able to create multiple aliases of your primary ID and that too without tweaking any setting or configuration.

Tips:

You can make use of multiple aliases to sign up with web services with their name after the (“+”) sign. So, when you get an email from them on your primary ID you will know instantly which service has sent you the email.
You can use an alias name to sign up for social channels and use their name while registering. For instance, thewindowsclub@gmail.com can be modified into thewindowsclub+facebook@gmail.com, thewindowsclub+twitter@gmail.com, and so on.

2. Use (.) dot to create multiple addresses of your primary address

This is another Gmail trick on how you can create multiple email addresses by inserting (.) dot anywhere in your Gmail address. Gmail doesn’t recognize periods as characters in addresses and just ignore them even if you enter by mistake.
For example, windowsclub@gmail.comcan be written as windows.club@gmail.com. The emails would still go at the primary address. Remember the periods in your email address count for nothing and hence you can create multiple ids.
Tip: You can still sign up for an online service even without revealing your email id. Just use an alias name by inserting (.) dots in between and if you want to create an email filter for that id to know the emails coming for that online service. Delete or keep such emails as per your wish.

Always been this way done it plenty of times just a pain to keep adding new emails not voting either way
I went on to buy the £1 mobile sports that was on here the other day and I can get a free movies thing, a week or a month, but that was nice to see. I already have a code for a free month but I haven't used it yet I'm never sure I can commit to a whole month lol like what if I use it and never watch anything? They'll bury me with it

OK, I was unaware and I assume loads of other people are too. Was very pleased at getting another free trial.
I thought it had to be a new card details each time for this to work? Making it a situation of the number of debit/credit cards you have giving you only a certain number of trials. Correct me if I’m wrong

You do have to re-enter your details etc, I had no issues though. Haven't tried +2 or +3 yet.

I don't like to commit to the subscription. Have a stack of Merlin vouchers that can only be used once per account, so have used a few email addresses. Can now use the +1 trick on each account for another trial.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great trick have used it for years but it's not limited to now TV, maybe you should of posted the hack as a discussion.

Maybe I should have, personally I never read the discussions. Sure if that is where it belongs the moderators will move it. Did you get out of bed the wrong side this morning?

Any chance you can pm me the code if you not using as I'm thinking about renewing my cinema pass. Much appreciated.

Does this (+1) work with Netflix and Amazon Prime ? I've already got a free month of Now TV Movies (from McDonalds Monopoly) this hristmas but there are a few movies I like to watch that are on rival their rivals platforms as well.

Amazon yes Netflix I'm unsure I pay for that
This use to work but now many companies have restrictions based on card/payment method. For example, if you use same card for +1 and +2 email addresses, they would consider it same, i.e. you will be charged. That is at least the case for me, but I will be glad if someone can prove me wrong.

Heat! You saved me £9.99! I logged into my existing account and discovered that I hadn’t actually cancelled my cinema pass from last month.

Must have not pressed cancel for the fifth time. There must be about five pages of ‘yes, I want to cancel’

can't you just delete the card details from the other account? would of thought given recent changes in legislation they would provide a mechanism for you doing this or even just delete the old account

Some have actually stopped the Gmail trick working all together, not found any that have charged me though, are you sure you have been charged on sign up and not charged after trial lapsed

Now TV put a stop to endless free trials by checking against card details and address. I have tried a new email address and payment card previously but it didn't work saying i've already had a free trial so is clearly doing it on the address details.

I tried again yesterday and couldn't find any way around it so used a code off a previous deal on here for a months cinema pass for £4.99

Call bank, ask for a new card. Definitely can't be on address as I've used the same address for all accounts.

(I'm not actually suggesting you go to the effort of getting a new card to get a 14 day trial)

I have plenty of different cards and tried a couple of them it doesn't work. It's doing it on registered address as that is the one detail you can't change unless you have cards registered at different addresses.

When did you last try? I have had several free trials though using this exploit previously for years so perhaps my address is flagged who knows. I've been using the same exploit like everyone else on here for Amazon Prime trials so only a matter of time before Amazon stop it too, surprised they haven't already.

I set up the +1 account in the summer to get a free nowtv stick at Alton Towers and decided to log onto it as my passes had all run out. The option for the free trial was there and worked.

Try it again today to see if it works. I was still getting the free trials back in August but not been able to get one since. And be careful because you think it's taking you through to confirm the free trial when it actually says you have had the free trial before and will charge you £9.99. I got caught the first time on this although I think they have made it clearer now as they must have had a lot of complaints from people getting charged when they were trying to get the free trial.

I've got 14 days of free TV so might try again when that's gone. Hope it hasn't stopped.
