Play are doing 2GB DDR3 Crucial Ram for £13.99 delivered so would buy 2 sticks of that over this as very little in it.

Still, £3.50 more for Crucial RAM is worth it. And if you aren't getting anything else, with delivery this deal is £28. So £2 extra for branded, and better quality RAM. Worth it to me.

No, this deal would be... £26.50. Seeing as the OP has already added delivery costs...

Bought these in Autumn 2010 for £53. They are made by Micron, which also supplies Crucial. However, they gave me quite a few crashes and repeatedly failed Memtest86+, so I returned them to Ebuyer and bought the Crucial RAM on Play, which runs fine and worked out much cheaper following the supply surge. So I'd recommend that you run Memtest (http://www.memtest.org/) for a few hours after you first install these just to check they are fine. Imo Ebuyer's customer service was very good -- so much better than that I received at SCAN for a similar Memtest issue.

Eugh Extra Value Ram... Avoid like the plague or... welcome to a host of errors and random crashes.

Question for the computer nerds here:

I have 4GB in my PC at the moment made up of 4x1GB sticks. If I took 2 out could I replace them with 2 x 2GB sticks and keep 2 x 1GB in there to take me up to 6GB or would all 4 have to match (i.e. be 2GB) for it to work?

would work, but it tends to be more reccomended a) not to mix ram, (i.e. 2 of these and 2 of old ones). and b) to have them all the same size.
edit: tbh if i was you get these, put them in 2ports, and take out all the 1gb sticks. Chances are you wont even need/utilize the other 2 gb anyway.

6-6-6-17 timings for CL9 1333Mhz value ram? that can't be right can it?

I would highly recommend paying £4 more and getting Kingston or crucial from play. Generic RAM will cause major headaches!

lol @ the 1333Mhz CL 6!!! i highly doubt that :p!
if so, they probably whacked like 1.9V through it on a P55 Classified or something lol :p!
