You may already be using 85mbps homeplugs so need these to be compatble to avoid replacing ones you already have, so deal is useful. Also 85mbps is fine for most things that will be done over the network.

Not at all mate, if you have 3 x 85mbps homeplugs in your house that work perfectly for what you need them for and you want another two, it makes no sense in buying 5 x 200mbps homeplugs rather than just adding two 85mbps ones? I have done this recently, just saying that the deal is still useful to put on the site as people have exsisting setups.

Odd way of thinking it out.. why would you do it that way?
if I had 3x 85mbs plugs, and wanted a total of 5, I would buy TWO new 200mbs ones! The Homeplug standard ones will run together, and they are far more future proof, and only slightly more expensive than buying the extra 85mbs ones!

Either way... Has to be better that the plop performance my Wii and Playstation get over the wifi!
