Issues reported with sensitivity being naff in rain and their help desk didn’t have solution. Otherwise looks decent
currently having problems with Alexa and ezviz, used to work fine on my 5 cameras, CS are not a great help, they only suggesting all the obvious Im not the only one with the same problem either.
I have this (or a similar model) monitoring the driveway and it's a neat bit of kit, streams to a smart display with little delay unlike some cameras. The selling point for me was the SD card slot, many are cloud-only which requires a subscription (I'm looking at you, TP-LINK KASA)
With TP- Link you get two days free. With a security camera I struggle to think why that would not be enough when you get alerts, live view and you can download the alerts :/

Google Home Hub, about 3 seconds delay tops. I think it's possibly because it runs on a higher DC voltage rather than most IP cameras which are on USB @ 5v, but I'm just guessing! This also means it's easier to plumb the cable through a wall since the connector is barrel shaped.

Hive gives 24hrs unless you subscribe, and I agree I can't see a reason to require more unless you ignore alerts.

This happens with all my cameras, the infra red reflects back at the camera, so you get alerts. Also flying insects seem to be attracted to the infra red and they send alerts. Spiders crawl over it and spin webs over it, both send alerts (Spider spray doesn:t work)

You really need a camera with a PIR sensor to get accurate motion sensing. There are some solutions which use AI to distinguish if its a person/car etc, but those are quite a bit more than £49.99

My YI camera is the same, it records constantly while it's raining after dark, no problems with rain in daylight hours. It just makes it hard to look for 'events' when browsing the recordings to see if anyone has been snooping about in the night.

Not on mine? Almost instantaneous, usually about 1 second delay. I don't think the hardware is different but mine is the floodlight version.

I’m gonna get the Nest Doorbell but looking for something to replace my Yi camera that sits in front of the window looking out. Seems ok most of the time but noticed it’s started skipping sections of recording for no obvious reason. Looking to get a higher res but bring into the google eco I have got going on lol
Heard wireless cams can be blocked using some kit ,is this true
