This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This was posted a while back, but then it seemed to be provider specific (Virgin Media), but this time it seems more widely available - as I don't have Virgin - and also had a mate try who is with another provider and he could get it working too.

Hopefully more people can benefit from it.

AV-Test continues to rank F-Secure really high.

By that logic anything that gets offered as a freebie for a limited period …By that logic anything that gets offered as a freebie for a limited period has to have a sinister motive behind it?

It's not necessarily sinister, but it's commercial reality: if you are being offered something for free, that means that someone has calculated that there is a commercial advantage for them to do so.

Google, Facebook, WhatsApp etc are all free - we all know the reason is that they make money out of our data.
Still free for a year on five devices...

No need to enter any payment details. Cheers Op

So why is it free?
What's the benefit to the controlling interest?
Ads?
Building your profile to sell on?

Not sure why, but what you say reminds me a lot of a scene from the simpsons where Lisa has a rock that keeps tigers away.

Sure that I agree with - maybe I was just too tired in the wee hours of the nigh to respond the way I did
Well it's free and I don't imagine doomsday scenario in everything. If you have nothing to hide then nothing to fear. I have signed up and I believe this link is for Virgin media customers only but for some reason letting people sign up so be quick before they realise as you don't have to install it if you don't want to. Just get a free year.
Thank you amazing deal and first class security product.Scorching.
If it's free then you are the product, peeps who say they have nothing to hide don't understand what's entailed in being the product; hint: it's better not to be the product.
1 free year with virgin media too so might try It see if get the extra year
Thanks OP, great deal

"No need to enter any payment details."

Correct!, I totally agree with you, lol, I hooked this up the last time it was on.here (just over 1 Month back, hehehehe), and yeh, so far so good. :-)

Baring in mind that F-Secure was previously/predominant for the Corporate market (as in, the Layman off the street previously could NOT purchase this for their home PC, etc, then this is kinda pretty good (from where I'm standing anyway).

And currently now for free, what's not to like?. :-)

If this Deal stretches for a wee bit longer, I just wrangle me different email address, and hook me up a fresh one, or whatever ... lol.
I have used F-Secure previously and it is top drawer.
It’s highly rated and effective.
would recommend it as a paid for product - for free its a no braine

Where is your evidence for that sweeping statement I wonder?

Where is your evidence for that sweeping statement I wonder?

no need to wonder anymore, its on My Computer, it came with Aol, it always leaves debris, all downloads do its just that you can't see them
sure...
I'm having real problems with my computer since downloading this free version. It has blocked literally every site that I try to access - even my work sites. For every site that I want to go on, I have to go into the tools section on F-Secure and add each website that I want to access. I've tried accessing links from, for instance, Hotukdeals, and I just keep getting the following message - This site can’t provide a secure connectionwowfreestuff.us9.list-manage.com sent an invalid response.

ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

I've found that I can turn off F-Secure but then my computer is not protected. Is everybody else having to add each website that they want to access, manually via the tools section? My work emailed me instructions for some jobs that I had to download, and F-Secure wouldn't even let me do this (even though I had added my work as an allowed site), so I had to turn off F-Secure so that I could read the instructions for my work.
Anyone else see this message when you click on the link provided? Is this now expired?
