Cool another game to never play! Thanks!
No wonder that it's become free recently, it's probably the worse F1 game by Codemasters

Thank you
Have some heat.
There's been a few games that steam have given away recently hasn't there, like Crusader Kings 2 and another one I can't remember. Seems strange, haven't known Steam to do it so often?
Nice, give that Man a Mint Imperial to suck on.

Think last time this was free was an Amazon misprice?
Heat anyway!
Thanks Ilusionary..

It was £1.51 back in January 2016. I've yet to install it so that was a waste of money

I think the idea is that if you like the game you're likely to upgrade to the latest (F1 2017) or buy the DLC (CK2 without the DLC is nerfed I believe), so just another tactic to lure us in. Can't complain for free though ... both are decent games in my book

No DLC though with this, 2017 has one (DLC) car and I think the last title with a proper pack was 2013. With 2015 it didn't have a career mode so there wasn't much to do, they reintroduced it with 2016, but 2017 was a lot more enjoyable with the classic content.
To give away a game for free to convince people to buy DLC or a future version makes sense, but they did it with the wrong version. If anything F1 2015 will make people not want to buy future versions! Should have done a give away on F1 2016, now that would have boosted sales for 2017 and 2018 versions of the game!

I shall be sticking to Project Cars 2!

Either way good effort OP as i am sure some may get some enjoyment out of this.
Got lapped twice in first two bends (wasn't even corners ) so sadly I was binned just like I did to game. Worst version of game but heat for the post OP.

16/17 are better F1 games, but if your season licence is about to expire on Teams and Drivers you may as well give it away.

The original Grid is still the best driving game Codemasters have ever developed, it's not a sim but a very satisfying drive. That ancient version of the Ego engine still looks good, runs like a dream and would make a great Switch download (£14.99-£17.99).

Are you listening Codemasters? Nice gap in the market at the moment.

I have F1 2016 which I think is a great game so I just went to Steam to have a look. In the end I bought F1 2017 for 13.99 instead.
I am still playing f1 2012 so thought I would update straight to 2017 for £13.99.
I was looking at it the other day but was not going to pay £44.
will this play cross platform, PC & XB1, even just on local network?

I just want to get some head to head racing in with my lad but it seems pretty much impossible to find a game (without breaking the bank)
I've added it to my library thanks but will most likely never play..
Perhaps i can play as Lewis Hamilton and have a hissy fit every time i don't get my own way ?
Downloaded but i can't find my library.
