Are the facebook 5% off codes done now? I've just been trying to use one with no luck. Some one mention to me that its a x2 limit now Heat added.

I picked this up. The 2016 game was this price, and rapidly increased the closer it came to the date. It took me 3 months after release to get close to this price. Ended up buying it for £26.99. Snapped this up!

Do they take money when ordered or on release date

You get the DLC. So the FW14B (which IMO is the greatest F1 car ever made) the F2002 and the MP4/4.

They take money immediately, but you can get a refund up until release.

Learn how the site works. Is this the cheapest price/best deal at the moment? Yes.

If you don't want to preorder something, it doesn't make it bad. Don't be selfish and potentially spoil it for others.

I'm clearly blind what platform is this for

Why don't you learn how this site works? This site is about helping people save money, which at the end of the day comes down to helping people make good financial decisions.

Pre-ordering allows developers to release unfinished pieces of crap, knowing that consumers have already paid for it. Steam keys are an essentially unlimited digital commodity. There is absolutely no disadvantage to waiting until it's out and seeing reviews.

Say that at launch this is £30. That means by waiting for launch you're spending 1/5th extra, but you get to see whether it's good or not. If it's not good, its price will plummet quickly anyway.

So you think this site works by saving people money by making them wait?

My point is, this deal isn't cold. It's the cheapest price atm, for those who want to preorder it. Might as well label any item cold under your logic, as version 2 or 3 MAY be better and cheaper.

This site is for the here and now. Is it the cheapest? Yes. Therefore it's a hot deal. Within reason, product quality isn't part of the equation.

Also, you say "absolutely no disadvantage" then follow it up that the price could increase. To me, that's the biggest disadvantage.

Personally, I'd rather buy a cheap game and be happy if it turns out to be good, than wait and buy the same good game for more, wishing I'd ignored the stranger trying to change the game industry's price policy.

If the game turns out to be not so good, then I won't be upset that it only cost me £25.

Both of your comments seem to be centred around the incorrect belief that waiting until launch day somehow delays your ability to play it. If you buy it now, or if you buy it the minute it releases, you'll still be playing it at the same time. So why not wait?

Because it's cheaper now. I went through this with F1 2016, and ended up paying more... because I waited. Talking in circles...

Why use this site at all of price doesn't matter to you?
