I didn't realise I was in the market for a Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) but at this price I might finally be tempted.

It should be great for those interested in a bit of fun exploring local lakes or the coast. Without the expense of a fancier board.

I paid for a couple of SUP sessions at a beach last year, despite being a bit rubbish at it, it was alot of fun, hard work and satisfying once successfully standing up and able to catch a few waves too.

After a spot of googling, It seems to be a very good price from what appears to be a reputable brand.

My store had at least 10, 2 of us buying 1 each at 8am but no mad rush after that.
Here it is unboxed - you aren't going to get better from the money. It's clearly a cheaper quality board BUT as long as it's made well enough (2yr warranty after all. IF YOU KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!) and it's the right size for you to be stable, it's probably a great buy - anything near this price will be smaller dimensions. The dry bag is a nice size and they alone cost a bit plus the leash and kayak seat, the carry bag is decent quality better than the aqua marina by far. The paddle is basic quality but fine to begin with.
Looking forward to seeing it inflated and how it performs on the water...

Inflated - only issue observed so far is the system for locking the large fin to the board as it's a bolt which is easily lost as detaches completely, they usually have a wedge which is attached to the fin which is easier to use and harder to lose.
Paddle as a kayak paddle is satisfactory but nothing like the real thing and quite heavy, ok for plodding along in the water for fun.
And we've worked out that the black tube pad that comes in the bag is so you can use the handle as a foot-rest as pictured

The rucksack carry bag itself is actually very nice, these alone are expensive. It's got twin straps to go around your chest and waist and there's padding where it sits against your back, plus a side carry handle and side elasticated pockets at the bottom for water bottles etc. Plenty of room for everything and probably your wetsuit etc.

Bargain but from the way it’s bending in the picture that feller is too heavy for the board.
Any idea what pressure this inflates to?

Any idea what pressure this inflates to?

It looks to be the same as this board on Amazon. (@ £359) which states a max of 15 psi.

amazon.co.uk/F2-…mr0
  • SUP Star
  • Ultra portable stand-up paddle board for endless water adventures
  • Anti-slip surface for a secure footing and stability
  • Multi-layered design with reinforced material using ‘drop stitch’ in the middle
  • High-pressure screw valve for effortless inflation and deflation
  • Features 1 air chamber
  • Elastic transport belt for secure loading
  • Length-adjustable paddle: 1.74–2.25m;
  • kayaking paddle; 2.48m
  • With 2 carrying handles
  • 3-fin system
  • Includes bag, paddle, dry sack, pump, seat, leash, foot roll and repair kit
  • Size: 320 x 84 x 15cm

As above comment looks to be the same per Amazon link, same size and weight so would presume PSI same. Is that important btw as im looking at getting my 12yr old one for birthday i.e. PSI ?

Your 12 year old will be fine on one. I've got a 16psi sup, I weigh 72kg and it works a treat
Found this :

What is the recommended and max PSI for my inflatable paddle board? We recommend riding the board anywhere from 10-15 PSI. Most people inflate their board to about 10-12 PSI. The higher PSI will help if you are riding in cold or choppy water. If you need a bit more stability, try increasing the PSI of your board as well.

The max PSI of the inflatables is 25. We don't recommend inflating over about 15 PSI as you will only see small, incremental gains in the board's rigidity past that point (plus it's a lot more effort!).

How does one buy this? Online or in-store

Instore on the launch day (next Thursday) I think. I might even get up early to try and get one. Most stores seem to open at 8am. You can go on their website and check the special offers leaflet for your particular store to double check they'll be getting them.
Peterhead harbor will look just like Venice.
Comes with a seat so you can use as a kayak? Been debating whether to get a kayak for years, wonder if this would be any good?
I've been looking into this board and found it's been on sale before around Europe. There's some first hand info here mydealz.de/dea…e=3 (think I've found hotdedeals.com...

Follow the links for even more info on other forums.

It's in German but Google helps!

From what I can tell;
People enjoy the board.
Some take two light people on with no issue.
Handle is not in the middle, makes transporting difficult.
Carry bag is very very cheap.
Some paddles break
Kayaking part is good fun.

No word really on flex or tracking.

Sounds like for the price the board itself is okay for a lake day or similar.

Unboxing and remarks on a thread here as well. standupbase.de/ind…=85

Nice bit of detective work there... still sounding like a winner which is cool.
Looks okay for the money. Two year warranty. Will probably try and pick one up on Thursday.
I've seen electric motors for this sort of thing. Could one be fiitteed to this model?
The dimensions on this board are good for the money, the cheaper ones are usually shorter/narrower/thinner which leads to less stability. It's still shorter than what we'd buy for ourselves as adults but I'm hoping to pick one up for our 12yr old who's fairly tall and hope it'll do for a few years. The paddle at this price is never going to be great, you can pick up better lighter ones for decent prices.
The kayak seat is likely more for fun, it's never going to be a kayak but gives you the option to sit instead of kneel/stand.
This is likely the best board you are going to get in the cheaper price range by far, it's not going to be a match for a more expensive board and as said is likely to be best performance wise for smaller people (if your board is too small it will be unstable which makes the whole experience much harder if not impossible).
If you're looking for something for the family to mess about on in the water during the summer then it'll be fine.
Bit if advice - please ensure that anyone using it is wearing a PFD/life jacket, it might not seem obvious but look up the reasons why, it's not worth the risk! And remember that this is essentially an inflatable so easily carried off in winds, tides etc and you've got to consider you need to be able to get back to where your started - consider the weather and sea conditions before use. There's lots of safety advise out there.
Hope that info is helpful to some of you, let's hope we can get our hands on them and they turn out to be decent

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to pick one up Thursday for messing about on a lake at the site we have our caravan at. Hopefully will be big enough for a 6 foot adult as well as 12 year old son

Good luck and hope it works out for you, at the very least it'll help you know what sort of size board you'd need but should be fine for your son and will be fun nevertheless. Another tip, wear full wetsuits, that waters going to be freezing and you WILL fall in

No. If you want a Kayak, get a Kayak (sorry but true)
in my store 8:00 - 8 boxes
8:03 - 1 box
still not too bad considering

Looks good. I cant get to shop until 1230. Fingers crossed they have one left.
I was a little late this morning... and visited two stores around 9am. Both sold out, I asked at one and they said there were 16 people queuing that morning and they only had 10 delivered. Ah, well.. I did get some cheap kids beach shoes, sun cream and something for lunch whilst I was there.

Ah sorry to hear that because if it wasn't for your heads up I wouldn't have known anything about this deal.

I've wanted a kayak for ages but I've decided to give this a go as I live near the coast and I'm always up there running and cycling so at least I'll have something different to try now.

I went to my local on the way to work (8.30am) and was surprised to see they had at least half a dozen left.

Thanks again.

Can you not try other stores in the next town?

Thanks, I guess it's the curse of deciding to post it on HUKD... or they might have just sold out locally regardless of course.

There's 5 stores in the local-ish area but I don't fancy my chances as we're near the coast too.

I'm pleased to hear you got one though... have fun on the water. I'll stick to my running and brush off my old surf board if the waves ever pick up.
Bought two from the 8 in store. Good quality and amazing price for a well known brand 'F2'. Look at the 'F2 Team' SuP for reviews pretty much same board, in different sizes, but provides some good info for making your purchasing choice. Can't go wrong with a 2 year guarantee. Nearly bought a RED Paddle Co 'Ride' SuP for £899 last year, so just bought two for less than half its price. Perfect for the Bank Holiday !!

These won't compare anything near the Red Co (just unpackaging both you instantly see/feel a huge difference in quality), you get what you pay for with those and once owning one you'd never go back
BUT if you're in for the cheaper price range, beginner wanting to try it out etc these seem like a good bet so long as they suit your weight/frame.
My son is an established paddler and hopefully this will serve well as his first personal board. If in the future an upgrade is needed these should sell on easily
Happy paddling 🌊

Gutted for you, but yes near the coast can imagine them flying out
Had to chase 2 stores but got one in the end, thank you for the post.
About four more left in Pitsea if that helps anyone
Just picked these up. Cheers.

I'm down in South Devon, near Plymouth. I don't expect the stores will get more stock, but you never know.
