CODES are one use / targeted to the email recipient. Apologies, I was a wee bit hasty posting this up!

You could try and guess the code, based on the below:

USE THIS CODE AT CHECKOUT: UKSSDD60V

Good deal for SSD, refurbished admittedly.

960GB for £120.20

Guys, I have ordered one last night for £120.20 with a code UKSSDD65L

Where are these codes coming from - none of them work

Someone's having a laugh!

My thread was closed as a dupe, oddly cos it was first, but I noticed my code was different. So I reckon they are targeted codes since the one here is not the same as the one I got. So they are getting used up...

Yeah I reckon they are targeted codes, sorry folks

They are user codes - the code I got in my e-mail (last week) was the same one as I used to get a cheap pen drive from Crucial the week before.

don't work

ive managed to get it working

I pm'd Frank. He sorted me right out with a working code

Nice one Johnorama, glad someone got some use out of it

Thanks for this, I check my e-mail (my Junk folder) and found I had a code mailed to me. I tried using IE on a PC (that I had tried the other codes on) and it didn't work, but I then tried on my Phone and it did.

I kid you not I also guessed one, and it worked. Superb deal!

TBH it's not that great a deal. It's a three year old design and refurb. Just looks good because of the inflated rrp. Decided not to bother myself. Rather get a (slightly cheaper) brand new, modern 500gb ssd.

I agree

I just guessed a code and it worked. I think its a very good deal. I know it's not the quickest drive out there, but it's great for people with older computers whose motherboard only supports slow SATA speeds. I will put mine in an older core2 system.

UKSSDD80P

you're welcome.

This is still working guys, just ordered one.

Just ordered one for £120, why is this expired?

Just tried UKSSDD40P & it worked still going, expired by unhelpful persons grrrr

None of the codes are working for me

This one works, I've just ordered with it...

UKSSDD85P

I just used UKSSDD40K and kept changing the last letter until I got one which worked.

So it wont work anymore then....

Just tried 'UKSSDD45L' and it applied the discount.
Didn't check out as I'm not desperate for an SSD, so it should still work.

My previous Crucial MX200 250GB refurb SSD recently died after less than a year, so I'm not too fond of the brand personally.

Was only looking at getting a 250GB yesterday so this came along at the right time. Very hot indeed

I remember 4 or 5 years back they did an offer for referb drives (no code required) with max one years warrantee.

On the left of the deal page they had an add telling us how reliable their drives were and came with a 3-5 years warrantee.

I looked back at all these referbs of reliable drives with 1 year warrantee and thought neer.

Well mine arrived this morning even though I selected first class 3-5 day delivery, so thumbs up to that.

I've installed it and cloned my OS to it (after scanning it for bad sectors etc.) made sure the firmware was up to date, which it was. It all looks good, nice and fast doesn't seem to be much slower than my 850 EVO, didn't think it would be in normal day to day usage TBH.

Thanks OP, saved me a nice amount of dosh, no need to upgrade now until NVMe drives are a more realistic price.

It has firmware releases and has great reviews. In regards to being 3 years old, the 850 EVO (great SSD) is also ~3 years old.

Any differences in speed are not noticeable in real world performance and this is ideal for those who want to upgrade their PS4 Pro HDDs to SDD considering it is SATA 3.

Thanks OP, got one just now.

I managed to guess a code, and placed the order. Thanks!

I managed to (eventually...) guess a code. Now I can finally ditch mechanical storage in my laptop, I've been waiting since about 2012!

I was going to wait for 960GB/1TB SSDs to be ~£100, but with Brexit's effect on UK SSD prices, I was going to be waiting a lot longer than I originally thought and decided to spend the extra 20 quid.

Cheers, OP.

Guys, I have ordered one last night for £120.20 with a code UKSSDD65L, so may be if you are looking for one, worth a try.

Thanks

i also ordered one last night and I just got a shipping notice too which was a nice surprise given it was listed as out of stock when i placed the order!
