The Fagor RAPIDX-6 is a robust 6 litre pressure cooker made of 18/10 stainless steel. It incorporates 2 pressure levels and comes in a satin finish giving it a contemporary look and feel. Because it is made from 18/10 stainless steel the RAPIDX-6 can be used on any hob including induction.

The Fagor RAPIDX-6 is also very safe to use. It features a quadruple safety mechanism which will not allow opening whilst under pressure. Washing of the RAPIDX-6 can be done in the dishwasher, however the lid must be washed by hand.

thanks ordered been looking for one for a while
Very good price. One of the top rated pressure cooker brands. Also checkout amazon.de and search for fissler as well as fagor.

Yes. Google reviews and search for top pressure cookers. Some good videos from professional cooks. I'd say Fissler is best but most expensive and fagor rates in top few.
just got a set of wmf profi pro. must say the finish on the stainless is top notch. amazon.fr 3l and 4.5l set with one lid for 110 squids

Probably no better nor no worse. A pressure cooker is a fairly simple thing and both are reputable brands. I got a Fagor in Lidl many years ago and it is still lovely and shiny and working.
it said £31.65 plus £6 delivery total £37.65 wow. so even cheaper than what you posted. thank you been looking at this model for 3 months. flaming hot

Prestige spares are readily available everywhere and relatively cheap (eg four quid for a gasket)
Whilst you can get some fagor spares online... they tend to be pricey (eg twelve quid for a gasket)

I prefer stainless to aluminium as the base is more likely to remain flat, easier to clean and no worries about some of the more esoteric risks with aluminium (eg, if you are likely to leave it less than perfectly clean for a while - it can suffer from microbiological corrosion, dissimilar metal corrosion plus there is always the risk of stress corrosion cracking.. )

I pressed on the link provided for this deal & the price on Amazon was £31.75 + £6 delivery. So I bought it for £37.75 total cost. I used my smartphone & Google chrome browser. Hope that helps.
Grrrrrrrrrrr

Measure up your gasket, there are very few sizes. I ended up buying a Prestige one for my Fagor as they were the same size, price difference was as you suggest .....

I believe current stainless steel Prestige pressure cookers cook at 12PSI. Setting 2 on this Fagor one appears to be 1.05 bar = 15,2psi so this will cook at a higher temperature making it about 20% quicker.

15PSI used to be the standard for pressure cookers, including Prestige, reducing the pressure allows manufacturers to use thinner steel etc.

You do need to check on the availability and price of spare Fagor seals etc. Seals and safety valves for my Prestige are fairly cheap, but despite only buying from major retailers I've had a few defective ones (quite possibly counterfeit).
