@Jawz Why do they need to be rewashed? Is it because of water spots (Off white stains) if you don't take your crockery out immediately to dry? If it is, these are mineral deposits.

Try cleaning out your filter if you haven't done so recently and incorporate dishwasher salt with your wash. I know tablets have salt and rinse aid functions but additional salt for hard water areas does wonders; it's also cheap as chips.

I've genuinely found as long as you use salt + rinse aid any dishwasher tablet does the job. Have used Aldi Magnum, Fairy Original, Fairy Platinum and Finish Quantum and no discernible difference in cleanliness.

Brought from Erith store

None in Romford store

Do these taste better than tide pods
These left a weird after smell to all the dishes. I could smell the fairy “lemon” in my food the next time. Maybe just my dishwasher, doesn’t do it if I use other brands though.
Great price, great find.
What do people find the best ones to use?

Had my dishwasher around 3 years now, was starting to smell a bit in the recent summer and had to rewash my stuff if I didn't take them out right away.

Currently using the fairy ones with blue and yellow aswell as the powder.

Thanks for the tips, I will use and start to take them out sooner.
Dishwasher giving off a mucky smell.
I put it on a hot cycle with some vinegar and bicarbinate soda a few months ago, but started to smell again.
I'm wondering if food is getting left to rot in the waste pipe as it goes up halfway the height and then through the cabbinet to join the sinks waste pipe.
I will have to investigate and try and work out where the smell is coming from. It left a smell behind on the dishes if I left them in after a wash.
Wow! This is a super bargain! Hope they have these in my branch. Thanks very much for sharing.
This is an amazing offer
So they have a bunch of these in the Stratford branch. They are away from the main shelf of them and marked at £5 but scan at £1. Thanks so much!

I used to use Aldi's which were great then I ran out & made an emergency purchase of Sainsbury's own brand which were equally as great. Maybe they have plateued & you should just buy cheapest. Certainly won't by big brands now.

No worries - Hot cycle with a cup of white/distilled vinegar inside is a great way to naturally clean your dishwasher.

Your filter should stop any sizeable food pieces from entering the waste pipe and stagnating so fingers crossed it's not that. A mucky filter is usually the culprit behind unpleasant smells, clean that and you should be golden until the next clean. Hope you solve it soon!

Finish tablets are decent enough
But fairy are probably the best.
Hence, why they are expensive
This is a good deal though.

Savers do 10 tablets for 99p so to get 31 tablets for £1 is a steal!

I currently use Wilkos Dishwasher Liquid which costed 50p for a bottle that does 25 washes. I use it with Rinse Aid and Salt and it works fairly well

I used to use Wilcos own brand lemon tablets, which worked fine. I went to local Wilcos one day and they were out of stock, so tried Asda Smart Price ones (£1.50 for box of 30), and they seem to do the job just as well.
Great deal. No point me attempting to go to my local store tomorrow as I'm sure they will be all gone
To clean the filter, remove it and tap out any thing rice sized or larger into the bin and then put it on the bottom rack and run the hottest cycle with a tablet. It will come out cleana nd saves 10 minutes with a brush and bleach - they get plugged by polymerised fat, fibre and cellulose.

Gonna be your filter mate. Check your manual how to take it out and then give it a good clean.

As previous poster said you can run in on hot cycle in an empty dishwasher. Just make sure you clean off any big bits that may otherwise get stuck down the drain, since there will be no filter in place.

Or give it a good rinse and brush. I usually use an old tooth brush for this.
Thank you, cleared out my local just in time for ebay £1 fvf

Take the filters apart and give them a wash, then get some white vinegar and wash around the door, lift the door a little as it gets very dirty around there. Then put the filters back on and switch on a hottest wash, add in half the bottle of vinegar once the dishwasher starts to fill with water and one fairy tablet. It will come out as clean as new.

Dishwasher need cleaning, you can do the same with washing machines just use a little soda power instead of a tablet.

stick with the tablets you are using they are the best.

I use dishwasher cleaner to clean it once a month and I kept the door open abit after every wash to dry the inside.
Life without a dishwasher in 2019 is like watching a black and white TV, stuck in the past!
HONK!
Alfreton store checked stock in pretty much all of Derbyshire. Nothing. Forget it.
Deals like this should'd go hot unless you can actually buy them..

The Aldi all in ones are decent.

personally using the Lidl all in one tabs now. They are awesome.

Used to have to take them out the packets but like the dearer ones it can go straight in now as they have made the layer dissolvable.

They were recently about £1.59 for 40 iirc. I stocked up as they are normally double this (Still amazing value).

Exactly and if you get a A+++ or as economical as one as you can, some use low amounts of water and less than what a hand wash can.

More hygienic too

I had an old dishwasher when I moved house. Was a cheap £30 facebook pick up. It got us running but it was a D grade for economy. I noticed when I got my A+++ the savings for my water bill.
These deals are always a wild, goose, chase don’t bother

Don’t bother with dishwasher cleaner white vinegar is cheaper and does the same thing.
Thanks to all that have commented about which tablets to use and how to clean the inside.
It's (strangely) on of my favourite gadgets/appliances in the house, only falling short of my phone and iPad 😁
Only uses 13litres so as the above comment is less than probably hand washing in a bowl.

Thanks all and enjoy the little that is left of the weekend 🤜🏻🤛🏼
Anyone know if the Edmonton branch has these in stock?
