Fairy Clean & Fresh Citrus Grove Dishwasher Tablets 72 Pack

Mirror, mirror on the wall, this is the cheapest of them all ;-)

£1 to £9 per pack cheaper than everywhere else
at the time of this thread.

Not being a cheapskate, but we have been known
to cut these in half to get lots more washes.. the
fairy ones do tend to be "stronger" than most of
the other brands..

LOL! fab, well at least you know now!

Massive saving and with these fairy tablets at the lowest of low, you
will be suprized at how sparkly clean everything is.. if you get really stuck, just slip a very, very small
amount of fairy liquid in an up facing cup on the bottom shelf, works a treat! Not as good as these
tablets but good enough to eat from!

How can you cut this into 2? There is liquid in the capsule and it will be everywhere. I must say I have found this to be the best of all those I have used. I feel more confident using this one than those from Aldi or Lidl!

Pair of non-serrated scissors, in half, the liquid is really thick and
then just pop 1 half direct, facing up in the normal tablet/powder
slot, the other half, we use an empty egg carton.. just save for
over night wash or morning after breaky clean..

Have used the aldi and lidl ones and the aldi ones [for whatever
reason!] are better, you can also use half of those as well! At one
point we used a quarter of the aldi ones, when had a lot of parties
worked a treat, after all its not what you know, it how you know it!!

Found the lidl ones to leave a few smears at higher temps, how about
when you used them?

I had my first dishwasher last year and I had to idea that I needed to buy rinse or salt. I was clueless. I bought the classic from Aldi. It left a funny taste. I didn't even know that my dishwasher did not dry properly as I was totally new to it. Any way, I won't buy from Hu***s again as I am pretty sure it was flogged to me as a reconditioned machine and my plates are seldom dried properly. I had to swipe them with dishclothes. Then I had to bend my back to fill in the salt, which is in an awkward place. Any way, by chance I posted here that Fairy this same one was cheap in Home Bargain or B&M (sorry I always get confused over the two) and started using it without salt or rinse. I really love this one. Thanks for the tips. Trouble is I bought so many of these tablets that I am running out of room to store them. I am crazy coming to buying multiples of non-perishables. Thanks for the bit and will try asap. I need to as I will have a lean-to replaced. Just sign contract today. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Hoping P&G do not notice the thread and 1) make them smaller 2) make them weaker! Only
seems to work with some decent tablets and only really found out by accident when we were
using the Fairy Pro ones and these ones got purchased way back, by mistake.. the dishes all
looked the same.. but the consumer ones were £18 for 72 [which is why this is cheap!] and the
pro ones were £29+! We cut them in half to see if there was any difference, tried in a top shout
£2k dishwasher and a £100 beko, both did a grand job on all chucked in them with the above
tablets in!

Cheers *Red* I will be up there with you hukd icon hoarding vip's one day!

Persil power plus 45 tabs for £3.49 hence you get 90 tabs for £7.00 better deal as these are as good if not better than fairy. Persil power tabs can be bought in 15,30 or 45 pks at poundstretchers

If you go to those extremes to save money, I'm amazed you bought a dishwasher in the first place!!

Lol

Good price, however after a long use with Fairy Pro ones, then finding out about the
compound of the ingrediants in these *consumer* ones, we switched to these and
Aldi ones, again found the Persil ones to be a bit smeary at the higher temps and
not so good at 15/20c runs.

Why is it an extreme?
1) it's not to save money, its to get more use out of something, we use a lot of and found there was no difference
in the results, when cut in half, thus a win win purchase!
2) I still do the dishes by hand as well!

Make & model you have used them in Dan? Just wondered how you find them [without cutting them in half!]
compared to say a particular brand you may have used before, seems these and Aldi are the best so far..

70x Fairy All-In-One for £4.99 seems a potentially better deal here.

Did see those on Tuesday [was not shopping for tabs at the time] and good deal
only posted this one from Iceland, as more chance of everyone getting the price
and they deliver if you cannot get out. Obviously as time progresses B&M will
start to dominate the sector they are in, another 2-300 locations and nobody will
be able to compete on price for branded goods/household/food items, love B&M
but a 10 minute *popin and get 1 thing* always turns into a *2 hour fill the truck*
shopping adventure, wow did we really spend that much..
due to the amazing lines they carry!

Not trying to bump my own post, but this is £4.99 in B&M stores

Look up one! Good price if you have/can find a B&M store, with Iceland you
can chuck it in a £25 food delivery and get it to your door.

Didn't find them in Hastings Only 70 of lesser quality of £8.. So not rating hot or cold... Good for hose who can find them
