Now why would you need to ?

Say you are trying to forge a career as an Instagram model and only have the budget to travel to the local park? Well now your photos are geotagged as Antarctica, Barbados and Disney World.
"No1 Powerful app that can change your current location to any other location?"

Teleportation?
Good app, had a friend whose boyfriend was controlling and she had to send him GPS every night. I told her to download this, unfortunately she wasn't very IT literate and sent him coordinates that were 100 miles of the coast of Liberia.
I think mine must be faulty i selected that i was at a beach in Costa Rica but nothing happened im still at work at my desk with an angry boss next to me asking why the work isn't done, how do i convince him that im not here?

Dont forget that Surfshark does this to enhance your VPN service, so for those who've subscribed, this is a nice backup, but not necessary

I'm glad the bugs and glitches have been solved then, otherwise you might arrive with your head back to front etc.
Would this app make it possible to watch iPlayer when abroad?

App permissions include requiring your location/modify and delete usb info... Why allow junk like this on your device? And why do hukd allow its promotion?
Does this work with the Pokemon game?
Perfect for carrying out an affair whilst telling your suspicious other half (who has switched on the track my phone feature on your phone) that you're actually at the gym or working late. 😁

If it does once you've set a location you can't move around without having to switch back to the app

I'm guessing it would be handy if your company tracks the location of your phone (my company does but I have the location turned off on thr works phone and permission for location turned off in their app as don't see why they should track us as I never signed up for it 21 years ago when I joined and its not allowed in other countries where my company operate).

No
You need a good VPN for that
Not a free one

Ethics, and moralities aside, I'm sure there's certain legalities they're compromising by doing such, right? (unless I'm mistaken ... )

Honestly speaking, unless you're into the protective/security element of thing's (police, body guarding, bounty hunter, private eye, GHCQ, etc etc), then I for one don't see the point of why your company would feel the need, to be able to spy on all it's staff 24/7, and suchlike's?.

But I guess that for you, that's neither here nor there? (or am I missing something?), lol.

That would be a VPN you'd be in need of looking for, and not my above ...

There's many VPN's out there too, so are totally free (forever), and some are free for only a short while (like 7 Day's, 14 Day's, 28 Day's, etc etc?), then they'll be wanting some form of payment from you or whatever?.

I'm assuming you're querying such for an Android device right?.

Some VPN's out there cater for the Android Platform, whereas some out there DON'T!!.

So, before you sign up to any VPN's out there, I'd check upon it's cross-compatabily first, so to speak?.

Before you then inevitably end up putting your money where your mouth is, etc etc etc ...

I hope that helps?. :-)

My one (for the here and now at least, lol), is totally free.

Whereas the sideways 'alternative' you speak of, is obviously not, hehehehe.

But anyways, thanx, and fair play to your comment though. :-)

Relationships are based on trust. Maybe it would have been best to send random coordinates every night. Moscow one night, Everest the next, the middle of the ocean, the South Pole instantly followed by the North.

A relationship is worth nothing with mistrust.

I am just an engineer.

We have a call Dispatch but I'm guessing they want to add the location for not just them, but mainly when they can get rid of the people that Dispatch us and everything goes computerised with that dispatching us.

personally speaking mind, I've ALWAYS been sceptical of certain 'stuffs', to be honest with you ...

Eg. Computerised robot voices teaching you foriegn languages (no need for the 'human touch' of a foriegn language teacher's/foriegn language schools anymore).

A robot telling you the coordinates of how to get to the bottom of your OWN road! (no need for you to utilise common sense again, via your own brain, and ... )

There's certain thing's out there I believe that should NOT be negated upon via a human feel of some sort, or whatever.

And POWERFUL electric currents, etc etc, are definitely one of them.

Use a 'machine', or something, by alllllll means, BUT, DON'T take away the human element of it. :-(

Reminds me of a 9 Year's or so Denzel Washington movie a while back, called UNSTOPPABLE, enough said ... lol.

A friend would have told her to dump her abusive boyfriend not install a Mickey Mouse app to accommodate his unfair demands.

All companies have a duty of care to their workers. BT engineers are tracked so if they fall off a ladder and don't leave their job site after a given time they'll send the cavalry.

They also have a right to know that their staff are working and not using the works van to shift their mate's sofa.

If it's not on company time then no they don't.
What are privacy implications of installing and using this app since it requires developers Access. How much and what type of data creator or controller of this app will have on me?

I like how people now install Alexa/OK Google etc. "Assistant" boxes all over their houses so they can supposedly order a bag of rice or play a song or dim the lights.

They don't realise these devices record audio 24/7 and upload it to their data centres for *cough* Quality Control or to fine tune their speech recognition algorithms *cough*.

And what about the thing you carry in your pocket all the time, and put it on your bedside, Google , apple five eyes even know how many times you (and me) snore in the night.

I agree with the Alexa comment though.

So he was right as she was lying about where she was?...
What you doing, what you wearing, where are you.........?

There's been enough news reports on tv about ex partners stalking and killing to know what coercive control can lead to.
Abusive relationships don't always leave bruises.
Eek! The app hasn't been updated since 27 September 2017 so I don't expect it's going to function well in newer version of android

Although I don't know what data the owner gathers, it needs developer access enabled to use the mock location feature in the dev settings. Essentially, your device uses the mock location to circumvent using an actual location to make it look like you're somewhere that you are not.

Not a particularly great deal in my eyes, these apps were popular a few years ago with certain types of Pokémon Go players (Probably other AR game communities too) as it allowed you to go to any destination in the world without leaving your sofa. Nowadays, Niantic and Google Security updates have cracked down on such practices rendering most of these apps useless.

Only if you have Voice Search on. If you do, Google records all your conversations and uploads them to the cloud. My settings are on lock down so it's empty, but for anyone wanting to see what Google has stored without their knowledge, go here:

Pretty grim for some people.
