While the game at launch seemed to to have a lot of negative reviews ad feedback, I got to play during the free week and was actually surprised at how well it played.

I felt this game plays better when played with friends but can be played solo as well.

It is interesting to play a fallout game finally where you are not the only player running around the world. Randomly encountering others or following in the footsteps of things is quiet interesting at times.

They have been working hard on adding new content and hopefully they continue to support it past 2019 and onwards. Could be something special eventually.

I bought it for either £6.99 or £7.99 and at that price it's only just worth it. Took no time at all to get to the end game. It's super easy, economy is broken, no level cap + xp glitches mean we have people level 300+ running around. Multiple dupe glitches mean lots of people have overpowered weapons.Broken things from day 1 still not fixed (including challenges to earn Atoms, for the in game store).

They added battle royale as pre beta with the aim of removing it after a week. Now it's staying as beta and in the last update received a majority of the updates and fixes. They nerfed weapon damage rates then introduced repair kits that you can buy for real cash.

Decent price compared to RRP, but I can't really recommend the game.
Worth it for the br mode alone, incredible experience.

I bought it at full retail price at launch to play with a friend and the game is just way too repetitive. I technically got my money's worth in hours played but it wasn't necessarily as much fun as other games I could be playing instead. It's basically all a massive grind.
Adding BR is a desperate move from Bethesda. I’d rather wait for The Outer Worlds.

Can I borrow your time machine?? There’s a few things in the past I’d like to have now and you seem the person to go to!

2 months back ... yes one hell of a time machine, can you even remember what day it was yesterday.

Thursday??
Up until just before E3 this was max £9.99 when not on sale, and down to around £6 when on sale. Temporarily higher with the renewed interest in Nuclear Winter and the free to play trial week immediately after E3.

Off the back of E3 interest prices went up, cdkeys up to about £19-20, but already down to matching this deal and expect it to continue to fall as interest in buying it falls off once again.

I tried it again after E3 with the Nuclear Winter update, and it left me cold. The game world is nice enough, but the game itself feels cold and empty. hopefully the future content updates putting NPCs back into the world will breathe a bit more life into it. I'd rather just have Fallout 5 or TES6, but since neither of those are on the menu for 2019/2020 guess I'll be going with Outer Worlds later this year.
