Voting hot purely because this is the cheapest I’ve seen this product.
I am not taking into account the fact that it’s garbage.

Yeah, so did I and I paid £20 for the privilege

Don't get me wrong, it looks absolutely amazing in 4K and I was really hyped to at least try and see past the problems I'd heard so much about, and I did, for about an hour

But you can seriously tell from the offset how bland it's going to be. I was kind of hoping the lack of NPC presence would have been replaced with something else to give the environment some life, but there really is none, at all. I bought it in the hope I could drop in and out at will like I do with TESO, but I honestly don't think I'll be dropping in much, if at all.

Still, like I say, it looks absolutely beautiful, and these are of course my opinions - others seem to get more enjoyment.

I don't see how in the world they could release a game finished in that state. Surely these game testers (that get paid god knows what) must have noticed how bad it was. Could it get patched to a state that is a little bit enjoyable? Even if it does, I think the bad press it's got will put the remainder of people off buying it

I'm not sure, I can't really see them re-writing the game to include NPCs which is the major problem with the game (again, in my opinion).

To be honest, I was only really interested in FO76 when I was told how bad it was, I'm not really interested now to see what they can do to make it good.

Oh it is thoroughly enjoyable with a plausible storyline and side quests that makes up for the lack of NPC involvement. Although there is a number of bugs, (and server drop outs) that have carried from Fallout 4 that can take away from the experience and enjoyment, but the programmers are slowly patching each problem. The real issue is that there is a major bug and glitch that a small percentage of players (including myself) in the Main Quest 'Early Warning' that prevents further progression into the crucial stage of the story line. I've today had to submit a second ticket to Bethesda Customer Support as the automated reply doesn't fix the issue.

I'm overly critical of MW:H and I know it's a problem of mine and not the game as it's highly regarded by many. It just doesn't do it for me
Bethesda wanting some of that “live services” money. Failed at it pretty hard.

Tempted, I've heard good things about this game, so cheap!
Surely it’s only a matter of time until it’s in the Game Pass
I'vep layed it for a couple of hours but don't feel any urge to go back.
The world design is great, it's just lacks that.. something.
I'm planning on getting another copy shortly so I can play it with the missus, see if wokring together works.
It’ll be 76p on CDkeys soon
They're patching and updating it all the time. I reckon it'll go to No Man's Sky levels soon, and it'll be unrecognisable compared to v1.0. But even though I'm a HUGE Fallout fan, I'm still hanging back. Still heat, though.
a friend told me there's a patch releasing on Monday fixing lots of issues.

I've found no issues with it myself and I've played about 12 hours

Yes. A sense of community, co-operation, and comradeship lacking at times. Although there were times when I've suddenly found that when faced with immeasurable odds or a quest that requires co-operation a player suddenly appears to help out without notice. The problem is that there is a feel of distrust, due to Player versus Player and how the previous inclinations of the series demanded being solo albeit with the occasional companion. IF Bethesda had created a feasible way of allowing localised chat facility via typing, and audible communication the element of distrust would be eliminated and team work would be easier. Unfortunately at present it's difficult to gauge whether voice chat works and is understood.

Another aspect of game balance is the sudden re-spawning of creatures as a new high level character comes into zone of influence. As a player of 30-40th Level suddenly facing Super Mutants of 68th Level spawning next to you due to high level character appears can be off-putting and ultimately dangerous for your character. Although exit stage left work well...……….

Well the issue is it is a horrible game. Even if they fix the bugs you are still left with a poor game. I love fallout series I am still playing fallout 4 and as much as I can overlook 76's bugs you cannot get over the factor it is just boring and dull. It does not work as a muti player game or a single play game. It is neither rust or Fallout 4. Everything that makes the standard go kill x mobs or get this item from that location is removed. The lack of NPC's and life generally in the world like the lack of different enemies in each location.

I dont blame the developer and it is not beyond solving but they would have to change what they planned for the game to be. No man sky failed to live up to what the dev team tried to make. The problem is 76 is what they planned to make but unless they go back on the core design of the game I dont see how it can be rescused like no mans sky.

Were you told by the same person who said that a bird sh***ing on you is good luck by any chance?
Cold. If someone prices a small piece of cheddar and £400 and you buy it for £20 - it's still not a bargain.
I'm really into FO76. Even with the odd crash (which should have just been patched out), the game is addictive to play if you team up in particular. I've bought my second copy (PC) to have a way to store more items. Heat for me!
Absolutely doesn't deserve the stick it gets this game. It ain't perfect for sure, and it ain't really Fallout that we know and love, but if you get a team together and give it a try you'll have a laugh. It's a digital Fallout themed sandbox.
First time I can say.... I'm holding out for free to play.
I think we have a classic case of not being able to polish a turd. The game is fundamentally flawed without NPCs.
No Mans Fallout! Will they make the epic journey to correct this game like Hello Games did with theirs...? Course not, it’s Bethesda. They’ll fix the game and sell it as DLC patch or new game. Or that EA? I forget...
