Great game and great price. Can highly recommend getting the bundle with all the DLC since they're really well made and add a lot to the experience.

Totally agree, brilliant game and very addictive

Fallout 3 same price, GOTY/Ultimate editions £5.09, 60% off. Was hoping for 75%, but I think I'll get 'em.

they will go on sale separately. wait for fallout goty as I am was £3.74 recently. its only been reduced for the complete collection

If you do get these games,I would strongly recommend modding them, it can transform your experience and turn a less challenging game into one much tougher and hardier, as well as getting rid of numerous bugs and niggles that the official patches never sorted out.

A good youtuber who does videos on this topic (and helped me out no end) was gopher youtube.com/pla…B11

Why do people **** on this when compared with Fallout 3? I've never heard a reason that hasn't amounted to them not being awed like they were with 3, which was inevitable given how 3 was the first modern, Bethesda Fallout. Contemplating buying it and just wondering if there are any legitimate complaints that aren't akin to the same sentimental bias other Final Fantasy titles suffer in comparison with FF7.

To be fair, I see a lot of support on both sides. I think fans of the old Fallout praise this as getting the series back on track, giving it more soul and better dialogue. 3 was just so groundbreaking, it's hard for NV to match that in some people's eyes. I originally liked 3 more, but as I played through it all, I began to enjoy the Mojave better - it's not as dreary and depressing as Washington, and the additional guns, bullets, hardcore mode etc really improved it, and the modding community is more active, what with it being a more recent release. From videos I've watched, a lot of people frustrations also seem to be with bugs, blaming it on Obsidian, but I don't think I've ever played a Bethesda game that didn't have bugs in it.

As someone else said, I guess I should wait/hope for the 75% sale on the GOTY editions.

It's actually pretty 50/50 for each side, though the New Vegas fans are a lot more vocal -- not to mention pretentious...
I preferred F3 for a lot of reasons, largely because it was more polished and had a much better main story, but both games are basically the same.
If you're really considering it, remember that if you've played a lot of Fallout 3, especially recently, then New Vegas isn't going to be much fun. The game's also seriously buggy, though the Unofficial Patches sorted a fair bit of that out. Lastly, the main character doesn't have any form of character development whatsoever, and you'll need the DLC to see him fleshed out in any way. Might want to think about getting that, too.

graphics on this game are a little dated but the gameplay is solid

no better way to spend that small sum of money.
sadly I've played it to death.

please release a new one soooon
