Isn;t this been made by Bethisda? If so, expect a half finished, buggy release - with a patch some 6-12 months away ... as with Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol .. infact any game that they have developed !

It's being developed by Obsidian Entertainment by some of the people who worked on the original Fallout. It is being published by Bethesda and is on the same engine as Fallout 3, so it does have a good chance of having a buggy release. Fallout 3 though, was pretty finished except for the crappy ending later fixed by the Broken Sword DLC, and the bugs weren't too bad.

This is an amazing price for what is set to be an amazing game.

I hope they hired a new animator or whoever designs the character animation, they've been awful since Oblivion!

About time this came out, the folk at Lidl look at me funny when I try to pay in bottle caps.

voucher not working

Voucher still not working.

Sure there was a rumor recently that this was cancelled

Given the developers, this will probably arrive very broken and need lots of patches which will fail to turn up for a long time, if at all ... see Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol, basically anything these guys touch ...

nothing on the forums or official site, unlikely given how close to release they are .

Voted hot, excellent price but no extra packs with this one by the looks of it, £24.99 at Amazon with a free tribal pack.

No way this was cancelled, I've read more hands-on than I can count. Nice to see a pre-order at the price I have with them from months ago for folks just waking to the coming party. Not sure if you get any pre-order bonus content on this though like you would on Amazon, GAME or Steam.

Watched the trailer for this the other day. Wasn't impressed.

It just looks exactly the same as F3 - no improvement on graphics or animation. Probably just a few extra guns and a variance/twist on missions already played in F3!

I could of course be very wrong, but its one of the few games I actually looked forward to the release of, but nothing in the trailer excited me at all :-(

If this deal is true it is a very good deal, and all the complaints about bugs and things dont matter as id take a buggy modable game like Fallout 3 over something boring a linear anyday

I found somewhere cheaper than TheHut to purchase Fallout: New Vegas now that the voucher has expired.

lol Neither do I. It is odd since the voucher for this deal no longer works which means the game is £24.93 to pre-order instead of £22.93 when i first submitted it. The other deal i found is £22.75 to pre-order, making it £2.18 pounds cheaper than this deal. The only reason i bothered to submit a new deal is because nearly a month after first submitting it this deal has started getting heat and the voucher doesn't work.

I wonder how many people bother to check the deals before voting on the deals, or how many pay attention to the deals themselves. X)

Did anyone else order from this deal, and are they experiencing a similar delay for having it posted? It seems they don't intend to post mine until tomorrow, the release date, even though it appears to already be on sale everywhere else?! (I checked Gamestation in-store today, where it was available for £29.99)

It doesn't really matter this time, as I'm away for a long weekend anyway and won't have chance to play it, but it's still annoying that they haven't sent it in time for the release date, when I pre-ordered it on the 15th August...
