PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Welcome Back to New Vegas!

With the introduction of the Ultimate Edition, Bethesda Softworks offers you the chance to double-down and get the complete package of New Vegas fun. For the first time in one package, you can get all the Fallout: New Vegas content including the full suite of highly acclaimed add-on content: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road. To sweeten the pot, you’ll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer of the Mojave or playing the game for the first time, you’ll find there are more friends and enemies to make, more consequences to your actions and more opportunities to live in glory or infamy throughout the Wasteland. The choices you make will be as crucial to your survival as ever.

KEY FEATURES

Beyond the Wasteland: The world of New Vegas is more expansive than ever. Each new distinct area presents a fresh set of branching-quests, remarkable personalities and more chances to play the Savior or the Pariah to the natives of New Vegas.
Shiny New Toys: Each add-on pack increases the mountain of armaments already at your disposal. Whether you’re an in-your-face brawler or a long-range gunner, weapons such as the Two-Step Goodbye (unique ballistic fists) or Sleepytime (a handy 10mm Sub-Machinegun) will give that warmonger in you a chance to flex your ammo-filled muscles.
Room to Grow: With each of the four main add-on packs, the maximum levelcap is increased by 5 levels, ultimately raising the ceiling to Level 50.
Dead Money: Lured into a trap masquerading as the Sierra Madre Casino, you are thrown into a high stakes game where you’ll have to work with three other lost souls if you want to survive.
Honest Hearts: An expedition into Utah’s Zion National Park goes horribly wrong and you become embroiled in a war between tribes and put into a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burning Man.
Old World Blues: Transported to the Big MT research crater, you are enlisted by the Think Tank to save them from their own science experiments that have gone horribly out of control.
Lonesome Road: Ulysses, the original Courier Six, contacts you and promises to answer why he refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of Fallout: New Vegas, but only if you make one last journey into the treacherous canyons of the Divide.

Cheap as chips. Steam key comes in order email. Don't need to use uplay client

Bargain!

Must-buy at this price. Spend some time modding it and you've got a truly amazing game. HEAT

You get my heat, and a little gaming love

I have the standard edition. Buying this would work out cheaper than getting all the dlc separately.

i wish every game had V.A.T.S

Sorry for the newbie question. I've only recently joined the HotUKdeals community after a long time using the site but not commenting. I registered in order to give thanks to the many posters hard efforts searching the internet for deals. This saves me money and time.

This my second deal posted so I'm green to all this malarkey.

I've noticed whilst getting email notifications regarding this deals that the "Hot-ometer" or temperature gauge goes down as well as up? Why would someone vote a game for £3.75 cold when the equivalent product on game.co.uk currently retails at £14.99?

All manner of reasons...
Just seeing the word UPlay will occasionally attract a cold vote (despite the fact it's a Steamworks title).
Then there are the serial cold voters, the less said about them the better.
On rare occasions a really hot deal is marked as expired just to stop it going out of stock (free ebay/amazon vouchers usually attract this kind of behaviour).

It's a public site so you can guarantee there will be a few bad eggs

The same reason people vote a Sun deal the hottest deal of the day. The site has a large proportion of, to be frank, idiots. HUKD's recent upsurge in popularity hasn't helped things, either.

The game is excellent though. Almost prefer it to Fallout 3, it's not quite as miserable and gloomy. The mods are also excellent, such a large and active modding community - I know naff all about computers but I managed to mod it after a few hours of watching YouTube videos and such. Highly recommend it.

Thanks OP, bought:) I see Fallout 3 is on sale too, is it a good deal, or any better currently with all the DLCs?

Just checked the link. Showing £3.75 for me too. Dunno when it expires, there's scant info on the Ubi site.

I am having trouble finding the game for £3.75 on the link. It takes me to the US site.

PC worked. Cheers all for your help

Awwww I recently bought it on Gamefly for £4.99. That is a bargain. In this game there is something off about the framerate/refresh. When I look around I get a slight micro stutter. I don't get that issue in Skyrim. I can't work out what it is.

does the uplay one come as a key too? (never used uplay before) or does it get added to your uplay account as you buy it? is there a way of buying as a gift so i can give the key to a friend?
thanks

List of recommended mods?

ooft. I've got about 30 on my copy so that's a tough one :P

Essentials:

Fallout Mod Manager
Project Nevada
WMX
Nevada Skies
NMCs Texture Pack
EVE
Interior Lighting Overhaul
Wasteland Flora Overhaul
Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision
ELECTRO CITY

Those are some of the basics I would say. This list is a good starting point and you can work from there really - nexusmods.com/new…t=0

Most of the mods I have installed are purely cosmetic but there are plenty of amazing quest/companion additions (personally I feel I already have my work cut out for me with the main game + DLC!). My game is at the point where almost EVERYTHING has been retextured; modding this game gets weirdly addictive. Just trying to see how far you can push it. I've had to stop myself from installing any more o_o

Currently looking at all the mods.

For micro stutter you could try this one
nexusmods.com/new…32/

Also I've found that the game uses the very ageing gamebryo engine which has certain limitations for newer hardware.

4GB Fallout New Vegas

The above link might help.

More info regarding the Download.

Ubi emailed the steam key with my order. Was not instant and took 30 mins to arrive.
Initial download was 7.7GB including all the DLC.
Expanded out to 9.22 GB

Vanilla version runs out of the box using Steam + windows 8.1 64Bit enterprise version. No crashes yet with everything maxed out at 1080p
I'm gonna install NMC and Project Nevada. To see how they perform.

For a complete overhaul of the game, I recommend Project Brazil.

Yeah just after graphical improvements for now. Plenty of adventure to get me started with main game and DLC. Might look at expansion mods once I've finished that though.

Thanks

Ah nice. If you're on a powerful enough rig you could chuck some ENB + Enhanced Shaders on there, this makes it look pretty damn good.

More cosmetic stuff:

Enhanced Blood Textures
Pipboy Redius (would recommend putting a skin of your choice on this, I use this one)
Revelation Interface Mod
EDE Retexture
Money retexture
Legion Retexture
NCR retexture
Wastelander retexture
General combat armor retex
Clutter retexture
Tumbleweed retexture
Sewer grate retexture
Lock interface retexture
Mojave Nights (moon and stars replacer, this one is amazing)

There's a few I've got on there. Actually running through this list I might have to reinstall some of these, I swear my locks don't look that good!

I've just fired up uplay and its in my library. Not downloaded it . So whether it asks for the key is another matter. Can anybody who uses Uplay shed some light on this?? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Uplay is showing game as installed. When I press play it fires up my steam client with the single steam key provided in email. So its one key, one game. Just cut out the Uplay option and play directly from steam.

Awesome! Held off from buying the normal version on Amazon US for £2 and I'm glad I did. Cheers.
