Advert in today's metro, page 41.

Class game, spent a good 12 hours on it already and barely scratched the surface.

Cheers

Looks like i will be doing that then, extra couple of quid over shoto's price but 800 points and clubcard points.

Looks like this will have to do unless Sainsburys or Gamestation can do any better

deffo getting it from here friday

you get better things than the tribal pack contents after the first quest! waste of money paying extra

Thanks for this - will be off to Tesco before work tomorrow. Heat added.
Might as well wave goodbye to the weekend now!

anyone know if tesco will be selling at midnight?

Guys, what about Sainsburys?
Usually with all Big Game Releases they do a deal to get the game almost half price if you spend £30 instore, but they wont tell me if its confirmed

£37.99 at Sainsbury's. Doesn't look like there's any offer

Anyone know if Asda are doing anything?

I heard a rumour that they were selling it for £29.97 on launch day but does anyone know if that's true??

I was playing the Windows version last night, really good game but buggy and the PC version is supposed to be the most stable of the 3 at the moment.

The tribal addon is garbage to be honest, although throwing spears at things is mildly entertaining.

ah i didnt see that, hope its midnight in all tescos

have just phoned tesco gloucester to confirm taht price and got told they wont confirm anything because the game is not out yet and it will not be on sale till 6 am tomorrow morning as they are not doing a midnight opening

my nearest store isnt answering the phone, what are the odds of them selling it at midnight? the store is 24hr

Cold.Talking in rough figures that would make the game around £32 without the points. Not exactly great.

And who is selling it for less then 32 ? o_0 for a new release that a lot will buy. What do you expect ?

This game hasn't been on a real offer anywhere. I remember when MW2 came out and Sainsburys were doing it for £26 on release day... nothing like that for this game... seems like all the big games have been full whack [£37+] recently...

But I suppose 800MS points MAY be enough for the first DLC coming out around Xmas... so this would be a bonus...

Have some heat, it's probably the best instore deal we'll see this weekend... The cheapest online price was around £35.

im gonna hold back, single player games prices plummet a few months after release, im sure this will be the same.

My store had no points this morning. What is the point of having offers like this and not getting any points in!!!

Does anyone know if this offer applies for the PC version too? just cos you can use the MS points on PC.

I dont think we're going to see any price cuts for any big releases this year, the instore preorder price for CoD:BO at ASDA is 44 quid ffs. Think they realise people will still buy these games at any price.

Exactly, they did the same with Red Dead Redemption I went into Tesco on the release day @ 9am and they had run out of the points and was told to come back towards the end of the week and i might be lucky.... not really a good way to run offers !?!?

Amazing game, so far better than fallout 3 IMO. £35 fro shpto on pre order was fine for me price wise. Not including future DLC there will be 100 hours at least in this game for me.

I had the same thing with Halo Reach a few weeks ago. It's a terrible offer if they don't have enough points in stock.

Anyone know what Morrisons and Asda are pricing the game at yet?

heat added.

How hard can it be for them to order the same number of points as games? Total con to get you in the store with no intention of honouring the promotion

does anyone know where to find the 800 points? does in come inside the case or should you get it from the store seperately?

No offer showing in my Swansea store and no 800 points on the shelf either, but probably 60 copies of Fallout over 2 display stands. Really annoyed as I ordered with Tesco Entertainment who up to this morning hadn't even bothered to dispatch my copy so the points would have been some reward for having to go out and buy a copy off the shelf at full price.

Same for me at the Broughton, Chester store, over 50 copies on shelf, no points to be seen anywhere. Kept me waiting 15 minutes while looked out the back. Oh, and apparently cant go and collect the points later as it's 'subject to availability' - on launch day when it looks like they have only sold a few copies. Farcical.

No points at tesco, newport either. Didnt arrive apparently allthough they had loads of copies of FNV. I got a voucher to get the points later, theyd better honor it because I would not have brought the game else.

On the plus side the games cracking but I am a fallout fan.

ASDA website is £37.91, Morrisons is £36.99

Same as me. My local Tesco, Newport had no points either and when I asked if I could bring the receipt back later and claim the points she replied "It doesn't work like that"

Joke.

Anyone know if this is actually the case or can we still get our points because I wouldn't have bought it other wise, superb game though.

If you go to buy this and you havent got Fallout 3 or you sold it on and fancy it again Tesco have the GOTY edition it in their entertainment blitz (big yellow stands, cant miss them) for a very reasonable £15 (also online here) - had loads in Telford Homeplus last night. Most of the other games for Xbox360 were disappointing though, except Riddick for £8.

they had more points than games in the Blackpool Extra Store
