A superb price deal on this top quality Ni-Mh battery charger which is supplied complete with four superb AA Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Eneloop batteries come pre-charged and ready to use and maintain their charge for a very long time COMPARED WITH NORMAL Ni-Mh batteries. Eneloop batteries are rechargeable up to 1,000 times and are capacity rated at 2000mAh and will offer you excellent performance.

The Fameart PC15 charger plugs directly into the mains (UK 3 pin) and is able to charge both Ni-Cad and Ni-Mh types as well as AA or AAA size batteries (in sets of 2). With built in IC timer and auto current selection.

Charging times vary but are typically 2 hours to 7 hours which is ideal for most uses. Especially at this super low price !!

cool - ordered one. already have some of this excellent batteries for my DLSR.

Excellent price - but must be old stock.

New Eneloops (and when I say new, I mean Eneloops that have been supplied for at least12 months) have the same capacity, but can be recharged upto 1500 times. These new models look the same, but have a picture of a crown on them.

As for the charger - it will do the job, and bundled with the eneloops it makes a good deal. But for anyone serious with rechargeable batteries, then buy either the MaHa MH C-9000 charger or the Technoline iCharger BC-900 model. Both of these are priced between £40 and £50 and might be bundled with some rechargeable batteries - BUT your batteries will love you forever Trust me ... treat your eneloops or any other NiCd or NiMh rechargeable batterries to a charge with these chargers and you'll never have to buy any rechargeables again.

Plenty of Google threads about the 2 chargers, so I won't spout on here - just do your research and invest your money wisely.

Cheers

Tempting, cheaper than an Xbox Play & Charge Kit, certainly.

I purchased these 7 months ago, have taken well over 100 pictures with my power hungary camera & still haven't had to charge them. HOT

Great post, I agree wholeheartedly.

I havent dont all the research, but I am thinking :-

This charger + batteries £7.79 = up to 1000 chargers
If I charge my four batteries every day (excessive!) then they should last approx 3 years.
This charger and batteries is over 6 times cheaper than the two linked chargers.
So if I spent the equivalent money on this charger (6 purchases of this item) I would have 18 years of recharging these batteries before I broke even and started saving money on the £50 chargers?

You're looking at it from a money-saving point of view. If you're just a casual user of AA rechargeables then the posted deal would be ideal for you.

However if you're a serious user of AA and AAA rechargeables who wants to get the best kit, and look after all your batteries then consider one of the other chargers. Like I said, there is plenty of Google posts about these other 2 chargers, do your research.

I noticed this deal too, and they may very well be as good (or better) than Eneloop. Although having owned Eneloop and being impressed I am sticking with a brand I trust.

Thanks OP - ordered!

Can't remember where i saw it but a guy came on here and really recommended a lidl charger as being brilliant for these batteries, think the price was £25ish, can anyone point me to it online or the actual thread. Was a thread on eneloops.

I'm guessing you're thinking of one of these:

I'm now interested in the the MaHa MH C-9000, anyone spotted any deals significantly less than the £49.99 list price at Maplin?

Best price for the MaHa MH-C9000 is £46.99 from Maplins. Listed as £49.99 but you get a £3 discount voucher applied to your account (for use immediately) when you register online. Delivery is free

It's a cracking charger, with a 3yr warranty too. It has a lot of advantages over the other IC-B9000 intelli-charger. See this link for details -

I've had two lots of these (uniross's) from amazon in the last fortnight. I may be just unlucky but neither of the sets of batteries when fully charged last more than 5 mins in my pentax k-x camera. As I say I may just be being unlucky, but I'll be buying some of the above instead thanks op.
