Another great bargain - still had around 50 left. Did not get any, as already have several from when they were 62p. Staff said should be national if you can find any.

Cos they're nicer

You should have bought them all and donated them to a food bank or soup kitchen

Trussell trust foodbanks do I used to volunteer with them. Larger families would get these as biscuits are on the list of foods given out. Its not just food banks that would accept donations of in date sealed treats like these most hostels for homeless /junk food cafes even older peoples homes would be grateful.

I keep reading people saying these biscuits aren't nice,is this kids not eating them or adults

I agree they're really nasty biscuits

If anyone finds any of these, and they don't like them, PLEASE buy them anyway and donate them, it'll be a good deed and the people who use food banks as their main source of food won't often get treats like this, be lovely for them even if you think they're not the best.

Nothing in Waitrose Cardiff Central this morning

Yawn... Can't people stick to the actual product instead of preaching and telling others what to do?!

It would cost them exceptional management processes to donate items and to fill in forms and paperwork subject to audit by auditor. So much more straight forward to sell them cheap. As for the PR stuff for supermarkets ,charitable activity is in the order of magnitude of 0.002~0.02% of their turnover. About 20p to £2 for every £10,000.
