The Journey

York Dungeon brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages and scenes in a truly unique and exciting walk through experience that you see, hear, touch, smell and feel. The journey lasts 70 minutes, where you will follow the story through 11 live shows!

Fully-Themed Experience

That means 360° sets, full of authenticity and theatrical storytelling. On your journey you will get a check-up from the resident plague doctor, get lost in the Labyrinth of the Lost and learn about the legend of The Golden Fleece.

Plague Ridden Polly

Plague ridden Polly, is the newest character, to join the depths of The York Dungeon. She’ll spend this February Half Term entertaining visitors, matchmaking and will be on the lookout for unhealthy visitors for her kissing booth. Those who don’t pass her plague test will be in for a nasty Dungeon’s diagnosis where the prescribed course of treatment could include eating dried toad or bathing in vinegar and rosewater!

Until February 23rd, guests will be able to experience 2,000 years of history through The York Dungeon’s Valentines at the Dungeon. The plague infested host and her kissing booth are just the start of that journey.

With 11 shows, starring a cast of 8 dastardly characters bringing to life 2,000 years of York’s murky past the attraction is a must-visit this summer!

Do these places never think people have more than 2 kids we get stung every time when we go as a family.

You chose to have more kids just buy an extra child ticket. We've never had a problem doing that but going for meals and bringing an extra chair to the table is whole different story
