This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

A nice offer on this desk / workstation for IKEA family members Offer valid until the 4th August. There is a £39 delivery fee so i is highly recommended that you use the C&C option instead.

Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Can be placed in the middle of a room because the back is finished.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

Extra room above the top shelf where you can keep your books, CDs or DVDs. The side panels act as bookends and keep everything in place.

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

I've got this in white for my teenage daughter and she must have at least four tons of make up and other such paraphernalia on there. Not sure how hard you'd have to throw a football to crack it, that kid should be in the NFL
It’s a pretty nice table. But hardly strong. My son accidentally threw football on it and it cracked !!

Get the part replaced at IKEA don't they offer life time cover on parts.
Bought this at full price 2 years and still happy with it, not the sturdiest table but then it’s a study table not an engineering work station

Now I know where you post all your deals from Yeah I guess unless it is solid oak it is probably not going to be the most sturdies table out there!
Decent desk decent price
Poorly designed. The only way I felt comfortable using it as a desk is by removing that large drawer.

The desk itself could also do with being a little deeper, so it's laughable they think it's a good ideqa to take up even more space with that other unit.

Have the same problem with a large drawer. Do you know if that can be replaced with a pull out place for a keyboard and mouse?

These do not have a lot of depth or width for that matter as far as a 'workstation' goes for anything other than a laptop. My wife uses a MICKE desk as a makeup desk, the drawer with insert is perfect for this.
I have this but without the back shelving part. I really don’t know what others here have been doing or expect but it’s fairly stylish, my PC tower fits nicely inside the cupboard with all power supplies nicely hidden away. Have a monitor and keyboard on top and the depth is fine. How a football breaks this I have no idea. Do kids play with footballs indoors? I wouldn’t sit on it but it’s sturdy enough. The cupboard can be placed on either side.
Uncomfortable for humans, perfect for kids.
The drawer is awkwardly low on a regular chair.
I have this, in black, from a couple of years ago. Added a side set of draws for extra storage and worktop space. Very good unit, quite solidly built. I agree the draw means you need to sit a tad lower to fit your legs under though, but I don’t find it to be a problem. Very happy with mine. I do wish there was a coat on it, like a shiny, wipe clean surface as the black wood picks up dust and dirt v.quickly and doesn’t clean well. That’s the only small irk I’ve found. Great price!
Hey Micke you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind...

What I do is, just take the drawer out when I plan on being there a while. Makes for a much more comfortable setting. Now I can use my foot riser with comfort.

Quite a nice desk. I have the black version of it, got it a few years back and still holding up pretty well. Only a couple dents from items falling when it shakes :/
Why is this charging a £9.95 delivery fee to collect from store?? Anyone else get this?
It’s not a strong table I once had a session on it and it snapped in the middle at the tickly point . But was a good laugh.

The problem is more when your seat has arms but even without it's not great.
its a nice desk but do be aware that it comes flat packed and will require assembly. We viewed the item in the showroom where it was fully built but upon opening the box found that we had to assemble it ourself! We complained but they said there was nothing they could do unless we wished to return to the store for a refund.
IKEA need to make the fact this desk comes flatpack clear.

What! you thought that it was assembled in the 2 boxes you picked up
£78.95 with click and collect, am I doing something wrong?

If you're a dab hand at DIY you could have a go.

See what spare parts you can get off IKEA, they may help.

If you have a Jewsons near you get hold of a sheet of MDF. Actually no idea how much it would cost to laminate.

50cm is not deep enough for a comfortable computer desk.

Also be aware Ikea use incredibly thin veneers which will wear away if it's used everyday.
I got this desk I bloody love it! Don’t know how someone with a football has gone and cracked it unless they’re John Cena or something.
