Dive? It's 18" deep!

err drought conditions are still in force in some parts of the UK although with all the rain we have had, you shouldn't need a swimming pool!

Not heard of a bucket?

How much swimming can a family do in a pool only seven feet long?

This is a paddling pool

You can buy it but can't use a hose pipe to fill it.

just leave it in the garden, it'll fill up in no time, no hosepipe needed

Voted hot. You can turn this upside down and use it to shelter your family from the rain.

Or use it as a canoe when you are flooded.

You need a pump for this too, as you can't blow it up by mouth.

"fashionable and elegant":p

Even without hosepipe bans i hate these things. Such a waste of water for a couple of hours of fun. There are people around the world who walk miles for a litre or two of dirty water and we fritter away gallons on things like this. Go to a local swimming pool if you want water fun. Water is precious. Just ask the people around when the stand pipes were put out in the 70s mega drought. Please ppl look after water.

Available instore at this price too

You have persuaded me to never have another bath.

It's £10. Were you perhaps expecting an Olympic-sized swimming pool?

Yes some people walk miles for dirty water but that's the hand they have been dealt. I only have to walk 2 feet from my house these days and I get drenched. Save water my a**e.

oh get a life loser, honestly we would never do anything would we - lets not drive, use trains, planes, etc - yes conserve and moderate as much as possible but come one people are allowed to have fun once in a while and i dont want wallow in 1000's of other peoples' body fluids and a billion gallons of clorine (which affects some people like my kids badly) - no thank you

Are you familiar with the word killjoy? Thankfully, coming back to reality, most readers of this site (dare I say) dont live in the 3rd world and most of us, like me, pay more than our fair share of taxes to prop up the rest of the country to happily "fritter" away a few gallons of water without feeling any guilt whatsoever. If we were in a drought situation, most of us would have the good sense to not fill up a paddling pool, so that "point" is negated

Get off your high horse, a site for penny pinchers (thats not a slant, im one myself!) is certainly the WRONG place to be crowing about waste/responsible behaviour

I didn't shower today. I feel crusty.

If you are concerned about water shortage/hosepipe bans, then why not dilute the water first

With Robinsons, Orange Squash.

Exactly, I'm doing my bit. I never drink water when alcohol is available.
