You know that's from 20 years ago right? Doesn't apply now.

More importantly, fanta doesn't contain saccharin.

Whether or not they're daily mail readers, sweetners have been linked to causing cancer due to the affects of free radicals on human cells

Just like your post of San Pellegrino Drinks.
This is the point where the detrimental effects of sugar are usually linked, something that is very clearly published.

There are many different sweeteners which all work in completely different ways, so can't be lumped together. Most experimental data on, for instance aspartame, were at such extremely high concentrations, they were never remotely close to what humans would consume, sweeteners, more than probably any other food stuff have been tested and tested again by various organisations, and the correlation to health problems is tiny.

Everything in moderation is the main thing.
Hot deal BTW!
The only answer is drink water..... although anyone who has ever had cancer has also had water in their system......

Basically make up your own mind and ignore others opinions and be happy

Correlation isn't causation and that's not what the science says. There's so much evidence proving the safety of aspartame for example which is probably the most famous sweetener. The NHS, FSA and WHO would be advising us to stay away from and trying to ban them.

Why would the nhs or any other medical body want people to be healthy thats where they make their money! On treating ill people.
Medical companies and such would be screwed if they didn't need to make drugs for the sick.
So why do you think there is so much fast food, processed crap and gmo... The money just goes round in circles making corporations pockets full. They dont truly care for us they only make it seem like they do.

We should all be looking for foods that come from nature not some scientific lab.

This last bit will seem mean but if you really think like that then you deserve these artificial sweeteners. Do some research

Can you explain how aspartame poisons someone?

I can't even. Basically if I have a different opinion to you such as that artificial sweeteners are safe I, and my family, would deserve to be poisoned by them? Yeah that does seem a bit mean.

I'll mention a few points that might seem mean or something but that is not my intention. Please do some real research, not a few hours on google, youtube, mercola, naturalnews, greenmed, infowars, rense etc. Actually you don't even need to do that, you could just look at everything skeptically. You're looking at sweeteners, GMOs etc skeptically and that's a good thing that everyone should do but are you also treating your research with the same amount of skepticism? Can you critically analyse evidence? Also the NHS is not a profit driven medical body, and neither are independent organisations like the WHO, and to me that's somewhat of an insult to the staff who all work hard to help people who are genuinely ill. The evidence is quite clear on most things you mention but then again all studies are funded by industry right?

Nature is trying to kill us. Some of, if not the most dangerous substances in the world are natural e.g. botulinum. Do you propose we ignore medicines and only use natural healing methods and unprocessed organic foods as if that would cure us of all problems? You seem to have forgotten that these are multibillion pound industrys too. Did disease not exist before the medical companies allegedly combined forces with food and biotech corporations? Why do insurance companies exist? The more we get sick the more they pay for treatments.

TLDR:

Fanta - brought to you by Nazi Germany (seriously, check it on wiki). Most interesting is how Coca-Cola then pocketed the plant profits after the war.......
