Thanks Angus - I've fixed the link (I hope).

I've ordered the cleaning kit, the big bite valve and the other valve bit for £12. Also a replacement bladder & two 1.5l packs for £35. Personally, I think they're a bargain.

Bah, only need the resevoir and they don't stock them anywhere locally

what size do you need? My local store has both the 1.5l & 2l in stock.

Rather than having to clean and then find ingenious ways of getting the inside of the bladder dry....just empty it and put it in the freezer till you next need it.

Good thinking batman

Great post - got 3 packs for £50. Bargain! Thanks.

Are any of the ones stocked by Halfords suitable for running? I've toyed with the idea of getting one of these for a while but think perhaps the cycling ones are too bulky...?

I picked up the ]Hydrobak and the ]Slipstream and both are very snug. Might be suitable for running?

Hi JK, this may be of interest:

I read they will be launching hydration clothing soon, including socks

Thesehave been around for years, I used one for my DOE expedition about 5 years back. Works really well, but wouldn't really advise it for hiking since you don't always consider your water rintake when you're sipping one of them.

I thought along those lines before I had one. Honestly, they're a great way of carrying 1.5 to 3 litres of water (without really noticing the weight) with very convenient access via the mouth piece. If you get one of the rucksack style Camel's you'll also have one the best thoughtout, quality bags around.

These are great and in the army we usually use miltons fluid to clean.

Milton's fluids? Ewww

Looks good. I wish they'd fix their stupid SSL certificate error tho, it's driving me a bit nuts...

[Ahh, removed the s in the url, and I'm good to go. shonky coding...]

a few friends use them while snowboarding, a very easy way to rehydrate while on a lift or even just while stopped - much easier than getting drinks out your bag!

I will look to buy one of these I think for my next boarding holiday

Many thanks for posting.

Me and OH have been considering getting packs for our cycling trips.
At this price it was a done deal.

These aren't for snowboarding...The snowboarding ones have special insulation to stop them freezing up.

I love my camelbak- fill it up with vodka and orange and I'm good to go. Saves having to chain my bike up to stop en-route in a pub for fuel.

I bought 2 Hydrobaks and a Slipstream for £35.
I am surprised at how light they are.
Very impressed.

After eBaying the extra Hydrobak which we didn't need the cost has dropped down to £18 for both.

Thank you OP!

Is this still running, I cant find the offer.
