I've tried many cameras over the past year or two. This is definitely the best one I have ever bought.
1st the reason behind my purchases is because I suffer with anxiety. I know it maybe strange but I find comfort it being about to see every thing at the click of a button.
I'll add some personal photos from the device rather than amazon photos.
It is extremely easy to use and reliable.

The big problem is who else is watching too, especially on some cameras have mic and speaker function so they can talk to your kids
Hmmmm this or a SRICAM 1080P?
I haven't heard of sricam but I've tried many in the past (kare zmodo) and I love this cam.
As my above app photo I have 3 x 720 maisi cameras around house and this 1080 on my car/street/front door.
2 in my mothers bungalow and 1 in mother in laws.
I can't fault them to be honest
Can you get a recording if intruder presen
Looks to be exactly the same as this one for £42.99 (eBay, Hong Kong seller) - only non-branded: ebay.co.uk/itm…365

Edit: Also see my comment below for a similar £19.82 one, or follow this link: hotukdeals.com/com…861

Yes.
Not only notifications but sd card records (not included)
Then you can download in half hour files to your phone
Can you use this with ManyCam? I'd really like a camera feed that I can have open on my PC desktop while I'm working rather than keep checking my phone.
Good question - you most likely can as it's an IP camera, but we'll let aor5000 confirm:

"IP Camera
With ManyCam, set up and monitor your video system easily. View your IP cameras on your PC and keep an eye on your home, office, parking area or anywhere you need security. The webcam software supports MJPG as well as H.264 Stream"

It doesn't mention ONVIF, or RTSP support, so I wouldn't bank on it working with third party software.

I've seen Dahua IP cameras being sold for about this price, admittedly without pan and tilt.

Can you not get better or at least cheaper from ali express?

Don't know manycam but mipc has a desktop app like the phone app (you can still pan tilt & download files)

Possibly BUT I like the company suppling it. Free 2/3 day delivery. UK seller and UK support.
I genuinely can't fault them.
Guys, I think it may come across as I work for the company involved. I can assure you that I don't, I'm just a paranoid weirdo that like feeling safe due to cameras.
I have 3 maisi & 1 kare in the house, 2 zmodo outside and 1 maisi 1 zprance in my car.
I'm just sharing as there wasn't much info when I've been researching.

That's quite a saving
If you have the technical knowledge you can set up a VPN to your home (I have a router with this built in). You don't have to expose your web cams to the internet then although it doesn't protect you from dodgy models that dial out.

I use a paid for App (iOS and Android) that lets me see all my different cameras on one screen, great for checking from work.

This one seems a bit pricey after paying £30 for a Foscam C1 on Amazon.

I've got IPVanish subscription which I've also got setup via my Xiaomi router. Do you or anyone else know how to change the country server via the router settings? I've tried several times contacting IPVanish but they never reply to my to this question! I know I can change server via my IPVanish account via Android app, but unsure if the selected server via router is the same server I've selected via IPVanish app. Router VPN settings showing it's connected to IPVanish but just wanted to know is there any way to change server via router VPN settings?

I'm not familiar with IP vanish, I just connect to my home network. I'll bypass my ISP's and government logging with an external VPN one day when I get around to it...
