Most certainly a mis-price? Doubt they will honour this price.

Original Poster

forgot to say, not in stock for 21 days, but worth the wait for just £1

Original Poster

hope they do, we'll av 2 see.

Ordered. Heat added.

Has to be a mis-price. Also back in stock in 21 days but remain hopeful that they will honour the price.

lmso well i put an order in :P just gotta wait for cancelation email now :P

lmso why is it cold?
ppl voting cold cos they think we wont get it? or to stop more ppl finding out lmso
either way have some rep

they wont honour, they never do...its a ploy to get people to their site....i wont bother

Practically no chance of this being honoured but worth a punt for a quid.

I can't believe they'd sell it for this...

I've added it to my basket but not sure whether to bother with it...

Heat added anyways lol

Don't forget Quidco ;-) lol

i've tried as well :-D

why not go for it?

gun

Save your time...........they also have it in stock for £39.99 here hmv.com/hmv…846

They'll just cancel this one.

just ordered 2, ok it says 21 days but who cares at that price, and if its purchased and an order is confirmed they have to honour the price.

Wrong.........don't believe that. It happens all the time here........it's an invitation to treat not a legal contract.

He's spot on, just an invitation to treat.

cant be bothered to enter card details do wont bother.

nothing ventured nothing gained, heat for me

i haven't got my confirmation email yet

HMV are the least likely company to honour any kind of misprice let alone this.

whats an invitation to treat?

tried it...I think they only have to honour it if they take your money...I may be wrong:oops:

Correct - if they take your money it means they have accepted your offer - which completes the invitation to treat and makes it a binding contract.

They can back out any time until they take the money.

Just got a "thank you for your order" e-mail, definitely worth a punt

And even if they do take your money, because they are based in Guernsey, they still dont have to honour it.

Hmmm... a few weeks ago, I ordered the mispriced Ipod Touch 32Gb from Asda Direct (£149) as did many others... in this case they took everybodys money but still managed to weasel out of the deal. There's always something buried in the Ts & Cs to let the seller change their mind....

Nevertheless, being an eternal optimist, I've ordered this just in case
Can't believe I even had the cheek to Quidco it as well !! [email protected]

No way any of you will get this.

ordered.

naive

I think only one or two of the HMV deals posted here that I've ordered have been honoured, I remember the Battlefield one got cancelled as well as Kane and Lynch, so this definitely won't, but I've ordered anyway because you never really know. It'd be a sucker punch if they did honour it and I didn't even try and order.

blimey, this has almost brought their website to a standstill.....

worth a try

Nope I'm sorry my friend you are WRONG!
Not in distance selling regulations.

The distance selling regulations state that the contract is formed upon dispatch of goods and NOT as most people believe upon the taking of money.

so don't go getting all up in arms if they do take the money and cancel the order.
(i think they have 7 or 14 days to return it to your account)

lol

The problem with posting misprices on here is that they attract a LOT of attention with sudden and unexpected large volumes of orders for an item. Best to order for yourself first, wait till it's despatched and then post on here to crow about how clever you've been !!! Or is that not playing by the rules ?
