If it is the cheapest price then people should be voting hot. No point voting cold just because it is not for you.

It’s not the cheapest, same price everywhere, check Tesco for example tesco.com/dir…633

Just too expensive considering how much games drop in price consistently. …Just too expensive considering how much games drop in price consistently. Also people buying this promotes the addition of crap content like exclusive weapons with different skins. Are you kidding me?

Also has season pass which usually retail at £39.99
This might have some really good content!!

Not the same price everywhere at all nothing stopping you cashing in 100 Ubi Points to get a 20% discount code and getting this edition direct from Ubi Store for 60 quid.

Way too much ******* being chatted in this thread, is this deal hot?.........

Erm no but it's not worthy of the Arctic freeze it's getting either, this is around the going rate if you really wish to pre-order it without a Ubi Store discount code.

I'm not a fan of pre-ordering as it encourages publishers and devs to release unfinished games but I like my most people contradict myself from time to time and become a hypocrite by doing it with upcoming titles I am desperate play day one or even better a day or two before.

Just because it's the cheapest price doesn't make it instantly a hot deal. It is a factor but imo so is whether its worth its price. For me £66 is a rip off. I've not voted either way.
Cheapest at the moment is not necessarily the same as a good deal imo.

Why vote cold on something you have no interest in This is a deals website, not my likes and dislikes as a person. Far Cry has its fans that would only ever buy the Gold Edition of their favourite game. They maybe buy standard edition for every other game but they are prepared to spend that little bit extra when this comes along. I myself will probably only want the standard edition but when voting I keep in mind that this means something to someone else so it is misleading to vote cold as this will confuse people to think it is cheaper elsewhere!

I bet the people voting cold have their own personal favourite game and would be willing to buy the Gold Edition of it.

How can it be anyone's favourite game when it hasn't even come out yet?

You don't know how good a game is until it's out and previous titles being great doesn't guarantee us anything.

I thought Deus Ex Mankind Divided was gonna be 2017's GOTY at the start of last year based on how good Human Revolution was but it didn't turn out that way did it? Imagine if I'd have gone and forked out £66 on some special edition pre-order package for that game.. I'd have been pissed!

And I thought Gold editions came out months after the original release with all the DLC included like with RE7?

I bought Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition last month but that was less than half this price.

But for comparison, would I have paid £66 for an RE7 Gold Edition on it's release?....

If you have been a Far Cry fan for 14 years then you pre-order without hesitation because it is your favourite franchise. I wouldn't hesitate pre-ordering a Gold Edition of the next Halo game and I would come to HUKD to find the cheapest price. Voting cold is misleading as this then implies it can be found for cheaper elsewhere.

Or it implies that people simply don't think it's a particularly good deal? People come here to save money and most will see this as overspending on a game will no doubt fall below £40 within 6 weeks of it's release which means you're spending £26 on additional content that will more than likely end up at a discounted price in an XBL/PSN sale within a similar timescale.

The DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn came out in November for £15.99 and it's only January and already down to £9.99.

Resident Evil was many peoples favourite franchise for around 13 years (1996-2009) but that didn't stop Resident Evil 5 being a big disappointment to many of them did it? I'm not saying Far Cry 5 won't be awesome, I hope it is but we don't know yet so pre-ordering a package like this is taking a risk no matter how long you've been a fan.

Also, it's worth noting that with the recent influx of all this micro-transaction bs, it's probably smart for all gamers to exercise caution with all games coming out these days and Ubisoft already have form in this area, Helix credits etc.

This. The Far Cry games have never really had any DLC worth bothering with, it was mostly just skins and weapons. I think FC4 had one extra level, and that's about it for the whole series.

Exactly, if the Far Cry series was know for really good DLC then I would be more inclined to get something like this although I still think the deal price is the max I would pay for a series I loved. I would like to point out for clarity I did buy the Fallout 4 season pass on launch for £25 but that was based on the DLC for 3 and NV being so good and me being a sucker for anything Fallout, having said that if they were charging the increased price on day one they I would have though twice.

Yeah Ubisoft have form with Helix credits, as do EA with all the shady **** they get up to on what seems like at least half their portfolio of games and the punters rightly pull them on it boycotting their respective titles in droves because of it BUT..............

Nobody seems to be pulling Rockstar and Take-Two about it, quite the opposite as they're buying the aptly named shark cards in their millions upon millions for GTA Online much to the detriment of the story mode. Those two or three add on DLC stories we were promised got shelved because they're rinsing the micro transactions big time yet nobody even murmurs a syllable of criticism at them.

Don't be surprised when the new RDR gets put back again, whilst they work on how they're going to monetise the online side of it because there's not going to be any of those flash motors, slick planes and hi-tech weaponry to sell in the Wild West of 120 years ago like there is in modern day Los Santos as much as I loved the previous RDR I refuse point blank to buy the new one till I'm satisfied it has got a single player mode worth having rather than it just being an extension of their in game currency milking exercise that GTA Online has become.

And I replied to this post last night so no idea where it went I didn't say anything moody, just merely stated trying to compare buying gold edition of a one year old game that was already cheaper at launch is a very weak argument against a full priced title's gold edition two months before it's even come out RE7's Gold Edition was never anywhere near 66 quid so it is not relevant here.

It might not be a good deal to you but it will be a deal for certain people that are happy to buy the Gold Edition day one and need to know the cheapest place to get it. The people that have no interest in this particular deal simply move on and don't vote unless they know it can be found for cheaper elsewhere. Obviously people are free to express a comment on the deal as this generates discussion and good to read others opinion but for people just wanting to find the cheapest price, they are going to type 'Far Cry 5 Gold Edition' into the HUKD search and couldn't care less if someone hates Ubisoft or someone feels it will be cheaper in 2 months time. They are looking for the cheapest price now and need to know where to find it.

Like the other poster said, you've misunderstood the purpose of this site.

If someone wants to know the cheapest price for a certain game they should use a site like gamecrawler.co.uk

Something being the cheapest you can buy it doesn't automatically make it a good deal and clearly people think this isn't.

Don't feel too bad about it. I posted a good t-shirt deal the other day and it was voted cold, not because people didn't think it was a good deal but because they don't like how the guy who owns the shop runs a certain football club.
