Yes.
That's the difference between Free to Play and Free to Keep.
You could probably finish the whole game in this time, and it's lacking in replay value.

It clearly states:
"You can enjoy the game for free for a few days starting the 29th."

And in the image.
You could probably finish the whole game in this time, and it's lacking in replay value.

Also not a bad deal, given that it adds Far Cry 3 Standard to your library as part of the Season Pass included.
You need a beefy PC to run it smoothly. Like all Ubi games, if you can't max it out don't play it until you can (my opinion). Worth buying for the soundtrack alone.

We Will Rise Again
Help Me Faith
Oh The Bliss
Keep Your Rifle By Your Side

Hated getting swamped with enemies every twenty seconds in John's zone but figured out that you should keep off the roads there when the meter gets high and complete other regions in tandem not one region at a time. Game needed a few months polish before release. Flawed, can be frustrating at times but there's something really great about it.
Are there any plans to release an android version of Far Cry, for non computer gamers like me?
Must be able to play through GeForce Now believe Ubisoft support it
ubisoft should pay you to play this game, being free isn't even enough
I know this deal is for the PC version, however I thought I should share the fact that the deluxe version & season pass are currently on a 70% off sale for the Xbox One, 4 days left!
I'm not really happy about this. Gta 5 was free to keep and play.
This is such a good looking and well optimised game for the visual quality it pumps out. You'll get 60FPS with everything turned on at 1440p on a merely midrange card like a 1660Ti and a half decent CPU. I have no clue why anyone thinks it is hard to run well, you get nearly get 60FPS on ultra and 1440p with an RX590 and they were going for £160/£165 not that long ago when stock was cleared! Hardly high end...

It does give me the open world fatigue sometimes. Ubisoft love that kind of thing with The Division and AC series, Watchdogs etc. However it feels like a quality product and gives you plenty to do.

Beefy? To 'max' it out you need a 970... Which while the 970 is a fantastic card, I wouldn't call it 'beefy' anymore. And if you mean maxing it in 4k, that's a bit much don't ya think when 1080p-1440p are the most popular gaming resolutions (though granted, the 970 would struggle a bit with 1440) in short, to max this game out you need a low to mid tier pc, pretty much anything between a 1060 and a 2060 will get the job done nicely.
Ah nice. Didn't see this sooner. Been wanting to test this. Will get this on download shortly. Thanks!

I agree, I think this FC has a great atmosphere and region design.

It is beautiful at times, it just wasn't hard enough hitting as it could be.
Do you get to kill the fisherman above? I hate bloomin' fishermen and their fishy fish fish tales.

Main quest line deffo, have to agree its not one to go back to, story and gameplay are ok but i was fairly happy to have finished with it

Don't forget you seem to know your stuff when it comes to gaming pc's. Most of us don't.
970. 1060. 2060....all means nothing to me. I occasionally game on my PC but I very much doubt I could run FC5 on it.

I would call a PC with a basic on board graphics card a low tier pc.
How does compare to far cry 3/4?
I’ve played this through both on my own and Co-Op and I massively enjoyed it more CoOp (especially the annoying bunker type missions).
Do people really download 10s of GB just to play for a few days and then delete it again? Not just this game in particular but generally for all the limited play time offers. Seems a bit much... or maybe it's because I only have a 8Mbs line.

Definitely that.

On typical 75 meg fibre you're talking over 500MB per minute, so it's basically a 20 minute download on a decent connection. No biggie. On yours it's hours and hours.

Imo a lot better, its the same formula obviously, but the setting and story is much much better for me. Really hated the cheesy B movie teen aspect of 4.

Nice! Stereotypically my favourite was 3 and it felt they tried to recapture the same magic with 4 but it just didn't work the same.

Haven't played 3 but I hear it's the same as 4.
This one is basically the same gameplay with minor tweaks.

The biggest difference is the story is less linear. You have to get a certain amount of "points" which you earn from optional missions and small free world objectives.
As a result, the main story missions are locked behind point walls and it just makes the whole game seem like a boring grind.
I much preferred farcry 4 as the story and setting was far better and I could just do the main story missions if I wanted to.

Imo, the story is garbage. I can't name a single character outside of the main protagonists as they're all so forgettable.
So by all means play it whilst it's free, but I really don't think it's worth a buy.
FC3 was amazing, great story, great enemy, all round fun game. FC5 had promise, I played it start to finish but it was a grind.
The game is split into 3 large areas, the first was fun, after which the developers or story writer's got lazy and couldn't be bothered. In the 2nd area except to be attacked by randomly spawning creatures explained away by the fields of mind altering drugs. The 3rd area, expect to play the same shoot house mission multiple times. You will get captured at points throughout the game, you cannot avoid that at all as it progresses the story.
Sure play for free if you want to check it out, but I don't recommend buying it. :/

This is the problem. With deals like these games are being devalued. Now everyone expects games for nothing which isn't sustainable. Goodbye videogames.
Why bother spending time to download it to use for a few days lol

A pc with onboard graphics isn't a gaming pc no matter how many times it says "ultra fast gaming pc" in its sales title. They are a workstation.

Judging by what I've done for the last month since I got an Xbox one with games pass and EA Access.... Yes

GTA is also by a different developer and was offered free thanks to a deal made by Epic Games and Rockstar. Free play days are always going to be a thing and Epic won't be offering out AAA games forever. In fact, after next week it'll be back to 90% indie titles with the occasional AAA. so you might wanna put down that entitlement.

I dont bother with free to play, Dont sit in from of console or a pc long enough to complete a game. lol. Last games I completed GTA 4 & Far Cry 4

I don't know why I bother buying games. It's all the bargains here that I buy and horde

Agreed - ridiculous comment. I don’t know why I’m surprised though, gamers are some of the most entitled people on the planet. Speaking generally of course, as a non-entitled gamer

The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic.
Downloaded it on a USB for in the car as it gets stuck in your head.
Some of it is weirdly apt at the moment too.
