I,m not sure ALL people on low incomes didn't pay attention at school nor had no ambition......many people on low incomes don't actually choose to be in the situation that they are in , your comment is very narrow minded.

where do people who had ambition shop then??

HOW DID YOU DO THAT?

They are niche but do have fantastic prices, shops are small and queues never long. For Iceland, I buy their frozen fish and meat, bread, ice cream, biscuits, eggs but not ready meals. The store is easy for fast shop and there is free parking. The boss of Iceland is a great man, very good for his staff. At Farmfood I buy their McVities biscuits, frozen fish and meat, washing powder, toiletries, J20, pasta, tinned foods , toilet paper. Only shop their once a month or two though as it is far away.

If you are on a low income, there are healthier ways to spend £1 than this.

Go on...

For those interested the turkey leg is 82% turkey 15% water 1% milk so 98% right there, the other 2% is stabilisers etc.

The discussion of people on low incomes doesn't really have anything really to do with the original deal but I'd just like to add that there are actually all different kinds of people that shop in places like farmfoods and Iceland ...probably just after a bargain like everybody else, yes I suppose the majority of customers are people on low/lower incomes whom have no choice but it doesn't make them any less important than somebody who shops in waitrose or marks & spencer
also if people are on low incomes I'm pretty sure eating 'healthy' is possibly not high on their agenda unfortunately.
