Yes was 2 for £1 a week or two ago. But still this price cant be beaten.

Its been 2 for £1 for about 6 months near me. Still great value for £1.20
What about the poor old farmer how much is he getting ,No wonder you can't find any dairy farmers anymore

As I work in an industrial unit on a farm and see the things our particular farmer does, sod the poor farmer he can suffer!
Whilst the dairy farmers, are being hit still i dare say so are the sales at Rangerover , Because unless the price goes up they wont be able to buy there 80 grand vogues or Hse's.You dont have to be a farmer ,so moo ve on.

yeah those poor farmers with their thousands in subsidies, the poor little mites.
Seriously that is Damn cheap
Heated!
cold as the price has gone up not down. for this product and this shop. farmer's should be paid around a similar price as we are paying a lot of you forget this is watered down version of milk as I call it or u can call it pasteurisation raw milk has 15 to 20 % fat and thus has less than 3.5% so what about the rest of the milk oh yeah they call it cream and charge a lot more trying to make the public stupid by comparing prices like this it should be compared to price of single cream which is around 15% percent fat content that's around 1.30/1.60 a litre so all those cry what about the farmer ask them why don't they sell raw milk in the shops it's all a con the illumanti and stuff
It's unusual and ironic that a price rise has been voted hot...but it is still great value milk.

Tip: Milk can be frozen for when you need it. It takes an eternity to defrost in the fridge, but you can defrost it more quickly outside the fridge by submerging the container in a basin of cold tap water for an hour or so.
2 for £1 on sunblest bread too, white, wholemeal etc
Why would you drink the milk from another species? weird.
Wouldn't be seen dead shopping in here. Have some respect for yourselves

You can't shop in here. You can be advised of a buying opportunity! Stop trying to pretend you are on here and don,t shop at cheap shops . You would not be here if you did!!
Or you could be a tourist seeing how the other half try to help each other. I think you need to get your priorities straight and have respect for others.

Don't try freezing full fat milk as the cream will separate. With a bit of forward planning milk will defrost in the fridge over 24 hours. Ive been doing this for years, saves running out of milk when you most need it.

Yep I did that, usually a loss leader is there to encourage people to come to their shop and whilst there buy into higher margin products....however farm foods prices are quite low and therefore this theory doesn't really fit....oh and sorry whilst I was "googling" I came across this ... fwi.co.uk/new…htm
(Ps sorry I work at Sainsbury's and am quite proud of the work they do to pay famers a fair price for milk)

why are they getting subsidies? its because there getting less back than it costs to produce, thank the EU for that.

Agree, it was x2 for a £1 but still a good deal!
Yes £1.20 is good but it was 2 for £1 last week or so lol, so when you think of it that way they have boosted the price by 20%

nope, most of the subsidies are for taking care of the land and hedge rows and has very little to do with the price they get for the milk.
