Before you start running to shops I would not truse farm oods. .. if aldi and lidl can't do it nearly a pound then I think this farm foods one is not worth buying....
Aldi and lidls butter is 250g. Farm foods is smaller 227g so they may be able to sell it cheaper . As you are getting less of it.

It's £1 because it's slightly smaller in size than the Aldi and Lidl butter. The Op has wrote 227g in description. Heat for the good find, Aldi n Lidl one is 250g
Thanks! Only have this store near me, will go tomorrow
Bloody beautiful
How does this compare to President which imo is much much better than Anchor?
Good find. The price of butter has gone through the roof recently.
Don't forget to use the vouchers for 10% off (have to spend min £25 though).

Aldi butter is currenty £1.45 for 250g - .0058 per gramme

Its nice butter- I've been buying it! The price is an optical illusion.. of course its smaller, heat from me, i'm easily duped.
Gotta be country life

If anybody is worried about the manufacturer, look for the EU producer code in the white oval and look it up.

You could say that the price/cost of butter has greased the palms of it's maker's for a wee while so far, huh?, hehehehehe. ;-)

Under EU regulation, it just means the last country it had some kind of final process applied to it.

For example, you will find some coconut related products saying "Produced in the UK". Yet, I highly doubt you will find many cocunuts being harvested in the UK.

True but I doubt it's worth repackaging butter from the ROI
