Isn't it cheaper than your average new release?

Except for a handful of games (Civ 6, I'm looking at you...), £39.99 is still the top end price for new PC games... many are £5, £10 or £15 cheaper than that. Activision were one of the companies behind the console game price rise to £54.99, but CoD:Infinite Warfare is still £39.99 on PC (Steam).

I do miss the days of buying new games for £17.99 from the Channel Islands though...

Never pay 40 quid for a pc game.
