Product Overview
Jump into an immersive virtual reality experience at the edge of the universe in Sony Interactive’s survival adventure, Farpoint. Exclusive to PS VR, this title plunges you into an inhospitable extra-terrestrial world filled with breath-taking scenery and fearsome enemies, where it is your mission to set off in search of a crashed space station and its survivors. Enjoy an intense twist on classic first-person shooter gameplay as you blast your way through the alien scourge armed with a huge arsenal of weapons. If you feel the need to call reinforcements, you can even connect to your friends on PS Plus and battle the alien hordes together.

As Farpoint is a VR game, you’ll need a PlayStation Camera and PlayStation VR headset to play it on your PlayStation 4 console. Don’t forget to pick up a PlayStation Plus subscription card too, to play with your friends online.

For those who can find stock, Toys R Us had this for £22.50, but with 50% off marked price (so £11.25). I was going to post it as a separate deal, but decided against it, as stock will be so hard to track down... (Found in the Southampton store, if that helps)

Does anyone have VR and is it any good. I’ve been holding off from buying it and in turn VR games.

I've only played with one for a couple of days while I was on holiday, but I really liked it. Due to the small size of the room I was playing in, I was always seated, so obviously I didn't have an issue with the wire that connects the console tp the back of your head...

I only had access to the demo discs, so can't comment on long term play. My first impression was "this is quite similar to the Samsung Gear VR" as the screens were not quite as clear as I was expecting (I could see the pixels), and the first couple of demos were pretty basic. That changed when I realised that you don't just look up and down, and left and right, but actually move around in the virtual space! I'd never thought about it like that before, as I was used to the Gear VR, which is always stationary. The first time I noticed was while watching an animated movie (Sorry I don't remember the name) and I could hear a character moving, but couldn't see where. I happened to readjust myself in the seat, and realised that I could look under the bridge to see her coming! After that, I was in love!

Now, if only someone wants to give me a PS4 and PSVR for my birthday..?

There is a cable running to headset but once you got the headset on it doesn't get in the way or anything
