If you just want internet go via TOPCASHBACK and choose this option from TalkTalk which works out at £10.33 per month including line rental, no cost to set up and a free router. They have to be losing money at this price. They also gurantee no price rise during contract.

It’s nice...but it’s Talk talk. Some get lucky I suppose.

I know 7 family members on TALKTALK, all have been issue free and got the cash back on all the deals.
I was with TalkTalk for many years around 3 years ago - Their network is extremely stable. Had constant (full) speeds. Their only downside was customer support (should you need it), but most of the companies I have been with previously and since have this same issue.
We got this deal last year, worst choice we ever made, broadband is so slow.. not voting either way as might be faster in others areas, but we regularly only get 3/4mb..

I get 2mbps, and its not their fault, OPENREACH is at fault as its their line and BT can only offer exactly the same for 3 times the price. If I got 4mbps I would feel like I had won the lottery, I suppose if you get used to fast cars, then mediocre ones are of no interest anymore. But then I also remember paying BT 2 pence per minute for dial up internet.......and that does not feel that long ago.

See we swapped from Virgin where we were getting 11mb at peak and 20mbs most of the time.. before that we had sky, similar speeds with them. Virgin were terrible, poor customer service, consistently losing service.. so won't go with them..
Talk talk for us has been false economy.. hence me not voting either way.. cheap yup, great if there's only one person in the house.. but if 2 of you want to get on at the same time.. so slow!!
Just delete “FAST” and it will look seem ok.
Not sure how it can be classed as fast considering you can get 30x the speed from virgin
Fast if you live near an exchange. Check your expected speeds at dslchecker.bt.com

You would think that, but I had problems with my line?? In fact TalkTalk control the Signal to Noise Ratio controlling your speed to a certain extent, cancelled changed back to previous supplier back to normal speed. TalkTalk are lets hope those that think they are OK never find out the truth.
Will talktalk easily allow you to change billing dates e.g to the 1st of the month.?

The choices are BT or Virgin.
All the rest use their lines.

I went to the ombudsman, OPENREACH confirmed they were messing with the speed at their control, they got fined, had to remove it and I got £100 compensation. All you have to do is complain and they take their controller off.
Now offering £90 cashback via Topcashback makes it under £10 month on 12 month contract

Hi, how did you get Openreach to confirm this please as I too am having problems with talk talk. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
