Brilliant tool for any carpenter. Bought one myself before the deal came up, much better option than the Trend equivalent imo. Recommend at this price.

  • Ideal for marking out flooring, skirting, worktops, tiles and much more
  • Designed for the accurate transference of profiles from one face to another
  • The articulated pencil arm precisely creates the required offset
  • Removable compass point makes it the perfect tool for drawing arcs and circles
  • Can also be used as a handy marking gauge
  • Comes with pencil, compass point and onboard pencil sharpener

The updated Accuscribe will give accurate results whatever the job. Due to its substantial base, this tool will stay parallel to the object surface ensuring a consistent scribe. Ideal for marking out flooring, worktops, tiles etc the Accuscribe can also be used as a marking gauge. The articulated arm allows the required offset to be set precisely and the removable compass point makes it the perfect tool for drawing arcs and circles. Accepting a standard pencil, this Accuscribe has an onboard pencil sharpener which means that there is no excuse for using a blunt pencil when marking out. Constructed from heavy duty plastic and comes complete with pencil and compass point.

Why is this getting down votes? I'm genuinely interested in the product and after a quick Google it seems like a good price.

I paid £24 for mine just last week.
Block of wood and a pencil is all you need.
Great price
I didn’t know I needed one of these to now. TU

Probably because Rutland want 40% of the sale price for delivery. Gives a false impression of the total cost. And yes I know it's listed in the title. I voted hot & ordered one. Thanks for posting OP
Thanks, buying it
Got 1 for work a couple of years back. It’s too bulky for scribes and the pin can fall out as it’s adjustable. Prefer an old drawing compass personally. Like this ebay.co.uk/itm…354

Very good price though

Didn't know a block of wood was adjustable to different depths?

Carpenters usually cut their pieces of wood to the size they need, if I understand the skillset.

I also use a drawing compass and try to keep it perpendicular to the scribed surface.

I am a carpenter (admittedly not the world's finest) and this looks handy as f. Scribing shelves against p1ss3d walls, end panels on kitchens and baths etc. This looks really helpful when discrepancies might be sub 5mm and when you care about giving the decorator f all to do.
I bought one, cheers op
ordered, thx op
