I decided no after I lol ed at the 96% discount. Original price $1600, now going for $20.
How is this going to be around in a couple of year’s time with this business model?
I signed up with FastestVPN a couple of days ago, on another deal over at StackSocial, which is currently about £4 for a lifetime license for 1 device. I thought it was worth a shot at that price.

It works fine. The supplied software is a little buggy on my Mac, but works. Even Netflix works (only tried Canadian servers for that). Tried Romanian servers for accessing some blocked *cough*download*cough* sites, and that worked ok too. Found one countries servers which didn't work for me (Bulgaria) so I contacted support via chat and they replied instantly saying they'd investigate and fix. So it seeems fine for my limited needs.
whos gonna take one for the team and report back, will they sell you out anyway defeating the point of VPN?

hmmm I have a PC running a plex server. If I ran VPN on this machine, but …hmmm I have a PC running a plex server. If I ran VPN on this machine, but then my pc in the front room where I run the plex media player, I'm guessing this will confuse it into thinking its not local, and therefore end up streaming my own files across it instead of direct?

It will be fine for local play over your network but if your streaming away from home the server will have problems if you can reach it at all, you can open ports up if the VPN allows that but you shouldn't be doing that if running a VPN, so it kinda defeats the purpose of the VPN.

Thanks - I only stream across the local network, so so long as it can direct play, then should all be fine
Has anyone tried CloudFlare 1.1.1.1 ?

What’s the best vpn for watching us Netflix? Nord was great but far to expensive
I had NORDVPN for 3 years before switching to this. The FASTESTVPN pc and mobile apps are both slightly less modern, but perfectly do the job. Their customer service is also very helpful, and on average I get 30 percent faster speeds on this compared to nordvpn. This does have a significantly smaller number of servers compared to nordvpn though, but it doesn't matter to me.

Privatevpn or windflix. Have both. Got on black friday. Lifetime foe windflix for around 25 quid I think. Using them for colony season 3. South Korea also has Monsters Inc!
looks like the website is down...
Any idea who actually owns the company?? It just seems too good to be true if it is showing $1600 then crossed out to $20 for lifetime.

I need a VPN that will match virgin 100mb download. Any ideas?

Be interested to hear how that goes
It’s asking for a postcode ZIP while paying
The site the deal link goes to isnt loading up. Anyone else facing this problem?
Spark12/06/2019 16:46

How do you get 2 devices for £8? That would be enough for me really.

Go to stacksocial dot com and look up FastestVPN

Apply promo code MAYVPN10

Can this be installed on LG SMART Tv pls?
I’m looking for a VPN for my iPhone which is activated on unknown WiFi networks. Not when at home network and not on cellular. This is possible with 1.1.1.1 but that isn’t a true VPN. Does anyone know if that’s possible on this? Or know a VPN that has that facility?

No VPN can be installed on an LG smart TV.
I tried to compare the speed of Australian server with different vpn providers and this FastestVPN came up the weakest of all 4 I've tested expressVPN, ufoVPN and KiwiVPN some of them are free to use as well.

That's my PureVPN speedtest on my Virgin line. Pretty much max speed. I'm using it as a Chrome Plugin - not the VPN app.

Well I've just bought it via Stacksocial, so let's see how it goes
Sadly its the lifetime of the company, I brought heavily discounted backup storage, it went down 3 months later.

Thanks for post.
Anyone know if can add this VPN to virgin router?
I purchased this and it works fantastically well. Speeds well over 50mb on my 60mb connection.
Hi does anyone know if this would be suitable for expat use in China?

Thanks, that worked great. The 2 device membership should be sufficient for me since just an account for my phone and my laptop is normally all I need. I don't use VPN's all that often anyway.
it's worth a punt for the price as I was just about to signup with express VPN and decided to give these guys a shot....

No, you cannot add VPN to any ISP router, including Virgin hubs.

You have to install VPN directly onto the devices that wish to use it, and/or buy a VPN capable router and plug it into VM hub.

Thanks bought it and seems being pretty fast. I could also watch Italian tv channels from original RAI Play and Mediaset Play android apps, that means it works better than other VPNs that failed whilst trying to do so. Voted hot.
