Was looking on amazon for some supplies for a course i'm doing... and then saw this...

Really good price for a nice, neat piece of kit. Will no doubt come in handy.

and some reviews on Amazon say they're fake - so looks like Stanley have just bought in some generic tool and put their name on it.

What can i say - i'm a brand ****.

Lots of lookalikes for lots of different products around... but not always same quality (although i take your point)

Dont get me wrong they are great cutter as i have a set, but a red version

I love a fat stripper!

Yes I have a pair identical to this from screwfix, they are all the same these days and all made in China you just pay for the branding.

Hopefully some one will book a liposuction treatment for Christmas for you then.

Nice, those look identical apart from being red

I use a similar tool all day every day and wouldn't have any other type of wire stripper/cutter and at that price it's a bargain

Beware don't buy the Chinese bubbles though they don't last as long

Do they have a returns policy? There's not many places that will let you check out a stripper and give you your money back if you don't like what you see...

Lots of fake bubbles knocking about too... you have to be careful nowadays.

Doesn't have the yellow plastic bit...whatever that does.

It's a depth stop - you can use it to set the amount of wire that's stripped, though I've never used it on my CK wire stripper

Just bought at £10.99 NON-prime

Brought this was disappointed it could not be used on three core 12mm wide cable, works on 11 and smaller, seems like a drawback to me for general electrical use unless you are constantly using flat wires

Would suggest that 12mm cable is mainly used by a pro - perhaps spending a little more than £11 would be appropriate for that sort of use?

Just received this one from ebay for £6.95. Looks identical. Stripped a few wires and it seems pretty good.
