It keeps it cold for 12 hours plenty of time to sink 20 pints + at a BBQ/Festival
Stupid idea, the beer will be flat and lifeless.

You can buy a 30 litre cooler from Tesco for £10 which will hold 30 cans.....

The difference is the Fatboy is Dual Insulated and a cooler is not. also the 11.4 litre is not for one person its for a group a beer goes flat in a few hours.. plenty enough for a group of people to sink the 20 pint capacity.

NOTE - I added a beer to it last night at 6pm after cleaning it and checked it now not flat and still cold

I tend to agree - cant see the point in buying cans and emptying them into this thing when it's cheaper and easier to just chill the cans with no worry about the beer going flat. Maybe if you could buy the beer in bulk somehow...
I wonder how much shaking it could take if filled with pop
I don't get what the big problem is. It just makes things more convenient when there is a number of people, keeping it cool and in one place. Would probably be perfect for a BBQ.
Does anybody know if this can take any pressure? wondered if it could be used for some homebrew?
How useful or otherwise this is, is irrelevant.

Can anybody find it cheaper elsewhere, for those that want one? If not, then vote it hot
Use it for homebrew... which tends to be flatter anyway
If you could pump out the air like you can with this fantastic wine savers then this could be a great product. In it's current for a waste of tiem.

BBQs = hosted where a fridge is nearly always handy or a proper cooler, don't need to remove beer from cans - so no good here.
Festivals = Good chance not being allowed entry with something like this due to risk of hiding drugs in it, also festival lasts 3 days generally. Most people take drugs at festivals, would you want a keg with potential some clumsy guy off his chunk will leave tap running or keg going walkies when none of your friends are at base camp.

Waste of time.
I thought this came already full of 20 pints worth of beer and was thinking its a good deal. However upon realising that you are buying an empty container I would have to say this is not a hot deal.
