Any staff that work within the hospital will be eligible to apply for tickets. Doubtless this will be an unpopular opinion, but nevertheless ...

I just don't put front line workers on par with teachers and the delivery staff. Yes, they're still out their working (as is my partner, who isn't either of these categories), but they're not caring and more importantly in direct contact and the vicinity of CV patients. Albeit I understand delivery drivers, till staff, teachers are in more risk than most, and I thank them all... I just don't put them parallel with them on the front line, or care homes etc...

Just my thoughts, anyway I guess FBS couldn't cater for everyone due to numbers so couldn't open it out to all... Whether it's "#bandwagon" or not, it will be joy to many and something to look forward to in these dark times.
social distancing being suspended for this night to give them more patients to deal with in 7 days time..
I think these Freebies for NHS are great and I fully support them.
I totally agree that it's not fair that other essential hardworking professions aren't getting these also. But let's be mature and support those who are. Let's not resent them. But do speak up about the injustice and hopefully others will hear and open up opportunities to those deserving but neglected professions

Nice one @reindeer333
Omg yes
Unfortunately it appears the amazing work of social care workers is not actually included in this freebie. Shame.

‘Social’ distancing at its finest.

Wednesday?? I’m sure that’s the catch. Why can’t be on Saturday??
Your not from Brighton !!!!!!
How on earth do you know we'll be all clear by then? Personally I wouldn't want to stand in a huge crowd at all this year, not to see ANY artist sing or play live.

Result of a tragic accident. Doctors said arguing with grown adults who have marvel avatars brought me down to their level.

Cool story bro
Prison Service not on the list, boo Fatboy.
To add though, the NHS peeps deserve this, massive respect for them as ever, saw some Paramedics through the duty of my work and said Thank you to them but really no Thanks is enough for how much they do for the nation. Heat added.
Anyone else who's grafting still and keeping the country a float can do one. Those poor people working in supermarkets facing thousands of people who haven't admitted to anyone that they've got flu like symptoms and poor people working in the transport system and everyone else don't get a look in.. lol.
All these concerts are well and good, IF we're out of lockdown. Keep in mind people that we are going to need a vaccine to get out of this hell hole of a situation. We could be living like we are currently, in severe restriction for a long, long, while...

Think it's a bit optimistic.

Madness in August

Paul Heston & Jacqui Abbott in October

Rick Astley in October

The Script in February

Del Amitri in December

Liam Gallagher in October

It’s not like Norman Cook is the only one trying to plan something. I think it’s good to be optimistic about it, and there’s obviously some thought gone into the dates by all these organisers. If things aren’t safe by then? They can be postponed. I’m not sure why you have such a poor outlook on life. I feel sorry for the people around you. Have a great day.

That means Zoe Ball will be harping on about this until the event, and no doubt her daughter will be doing a guest set...
just dont need to go to hospital on the 28th october as theyll all be closed
They do get credit just because they dont get a free meal or a free concert doesnt mean they dont get credit, but for me the nhs have been phenomenal in all this, they are putting their lives on the line day in day out. I do know that supermarkets have increased their employees discount so i suppose that's a perk.

Didn’t say the NHS havent have I? All these workers are risking lives. Whilst you sit at home supermarket staff are still mingling with people as are teaching staff with the nhs workers children. Don’t forget them is what I’m saying, they are keeping us going too.
You said what about other key workers so to me your having a twist about how nhs are getting the chance to go to a free concert, and I'm not sitting at home I'm still working through this and I'm not twisting about been given free stuff I appreciate that the nhs are doing more than me and saving lives and putting themselves and their families lives on the line, do you realise they are dealing with positive covid patients where other key workers are dealing with a much lesser percentage of covid positive patients anyway that's your opinion your probably one of these people that normally slate the nhs I'm sensing some sort of issue with them from you.

I have no issue at all just think we should commend all key workers in this time. I’ll happily endorse all sorts of rewards and thanks for our nhs but also feel too many are forgetting other key workers. I never slate the nhs so wind it in.

You know Fatboy Slim is a touring DJ and does (did) a lot of gigs all over the world, all year round? It’s not like this is a “one-off”, it’s just a good event.

My mum is a care worker, currently looking after 2 patients that have been tested and sent home from hospital with confirmed cases, minimal ppe and caring for him before he was diagnosed with no ppe whatsoever, care workers are in the same boat as the nhs workers too but seem to be forgotten.

He is actually very good live, seen him play a couple of times, plays some blinding sets. Obviously if you don't like dance/house music than that's understandable.

I agree, I won't clap for NHS, we should be clapping for unpaid volunteers. I wonder how many NHS workers are foregoing their overtime payments?

I’ll be clapping for the nhs but also include all other people working at moment, teachers, supermarkets, care workers!

Yeah, he should do nothing. Just sit in his luxury house and not give people a free concert. What an idiot. Same as all the other performers - once they had seen someone else had lined up a free concert, they should have just given up.
Haven't they suffered enough?

Never once stated I didn’t want opinions. But cheers though because that reply will certainly put me to sleep.
What about other key workers fatty.???
And just like Liam Gallagher nhs tickets they will end up all over the internet for 2/3 times the price from con artists

Teachers arent keyworiers are they? Schools are closed

But yeah ppl like Supermarket workers, Delivery drivers, factory workers are working harder than ever and risking themselves, especially cashiers
Lets not forget Bin men they have to take away our germ filled bins putting themselves at risk, during pandemic you certainly dont want to be touching everyone's bins filled with virus filled tissues and soup
