Don't know why but I absolutely love this series...think it's the fact that like Murder She Wrote it always involves what I would call a "nice" murder...lol....

All episodes from series 1-4 of the TV drama starring Mark Williams as the eponymous character created by English writer G.K. Chesterton.

Set in the 1950s in the fictional village of Kembleford, the series follows Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who has a knack for solving crimes. He is assisted by parish secretary Bridgette McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack) and is often a source of frustration for the local police.

Ditto....don't know why but I just love it even though I'm not quite sure I'd fit into the age range that people would think would watch it...as I said in the description it kind of reminds me of murder she wrote in that it usually involves a "nice" murder and then a bit of good old fashioned sleuthing (think they'll be glad I wasn't in charge of the PR for it...lol...) and is just a very enjoyable way to pass some time. Think a lot of people may have missed it though due to the original afternoon time slot although they have been re-playing it on alibi and think it's on Netflix.

Another quite good series was also shown in the same afternoon time slot on the BBC - "The Coroner" with Claire Goose - and it was also very watchable but again a lot of people seem to have never of heard of it.
