Great price for a new bed with a memory foam mattress I think. looked at some of the other designs they sell on their ebay shop and they carry a good range, but this is the best deal, I think.

Have bought 2 beds in the past from this Ebay shop - same faux level wooden slat beds. Self assembly for those asking and packages look small but easier to assemble and suprisingly good quality considering the price. Not sure on memory foam mattress as we got Silent night ones instead.
It also depends on your DIY skills to make sure the assembly is good enough for those complaining about slats. Never had one fall, no breakages or anything at all for the past 2-3years having two from these. Delivery is usually a bit quicker than expected too

Should have said faux leather, not faux large. Stupid auto correct

Thank you for posting. Looks good. Any reviews on quality? Heat added anyway.

Thanks - reading the neg and neutral comments most seem to relate to different beds and plenty of positive comments for this one. As one person says the bed is sprung and memory foam topped, though it's idiotic to complain about that when it is explicitly stated as such.

I was going to buy this until I realised they don't deliver to the Isle of Wight. Great deal.

I have this bed and mattress and honestly, it was one of the best purchases I made when we moved.

We got the king size and it is honestly so comfy, I recommended it to someone at work and he couldn't believe how nice it was either.

Seriously recommend.

there was a bed posted a while back that looked quite funky from the same company but that cost a lot with a memory foam mattress where as this is a lot cheaper. very tempted by the price and by the comment above

I have this bed, got the real leather one about a year ago!
Defiantly would recommend, however this bed is very low which may put some people off! Didn't bother me, looks more modern and more spacious in the room if you ask me

i bought this bed.. arrived yesterday. the mattress came rolled up. So my first impressions wasn't great. You can feel the springs in the mattress also. I suspect I will be buying a new mattress shortly. But what do you want for £150.

we have the super king size, its a great bed!

I bought one of these with drawers last year. Mattress was uncomfortable and we had to change and drawers are already collapsing.

Looks good. Quality is below average.

I also have this, in a double, its been going strong for over two years now and it doesn't have the lightest people ever sleeping on it...!

I've never posted on HUKD but I had to after seeing this post. The Bed Company are simply the WORST company I've had the 'pleasure' of dealing with. First of all they missed half of the wooden slats out the box, I spent the first night in new apartment sleeping on the floor. I called and was promised the correct slats - It took five, yes FIVE deliveries for them to get the correct ones to me. Hours of time wasted waiting in for couriers (sometimes they didn't even turn up) and on the phone.

Each time I rang, the previous person I had spoken to was unavailable, out the country, riding his horse - you name it. I couldn't get through to any managers or directors who were apparently in China or the Middle East, depending on who you asked. I finally got through to a 'customer services manager' who promised me a £50 refund, guess what - it never happened. I left negative feedback on eBay, they finally contacted me and offered me a measly £35 to take the feedback down, what a joke. I took the money and left the feedback just where it is.

If everything goes to plan you MAY have a reasonable experience, but if anything ever goes wrong or you need spares, good luck. I would really advise to stay well away from this company and spend an extra few quid elsewhere,. I wish I had.

A search for European bed brings up the deal from yesterday, starting at £177 with no mattress? Not same price at all.

Just bought one ..thanks

bed and mattress for £150 is a good deal????

a bed for £150 would be a good deal because essentially it is just a frame, i paid £250 for mine but it is a hydraulic ottoman in black faux leather, therefore a quality bed with lift up storage that is easy to lift up which is great because of how heavy my mattress is. essentially a bed makes zero difference to comfort or your spine so long as it is straight, you are fine so you can skimp money on this part.

my mattress on the other hand i paid roughly £360 for i believe, which at the time i bought it debenhams were selling the same model for £1300 on their website. it was the last one in stock at the store i bought it from and when they re-ordered them back in the price shot up to £500, so I know I got a great deal on my mattress.

a mattress is something you will be spending a 1/3rd of your life on, therefore it usually pays dividends to buy a quality one. i would urge people to spend a lot more than £150 on a mattress, let alone a mattress and a bed frame, unless you get lucky at a clearance sale or something which is rare.

i suggest you look at pocket sprung mattress's as they are the best, my previous mattress was memory foam and i hated it.

i'm lying on that exact bed now typing this!

comfy as owt

I got this bed during the week. Slats are terrible quality, they kept falling out (held in place with plastics holdings) and one in the corner was already falling apart. As I had already made my bed.. I had to lie in it, plus once I unpacked that mattress I wasn't going to be sending it back for a refund at my expense. I nipped to a local DIY shop and bought some wood to construct better slats. £30 down but the bed feels a lot better now.

The mattress, well, you get what you pay for. Hardly any memory foam topping on it but it does the job.

Terrible company to deal with, need say no more. terrible self promoters / spammers too

I bought a slightly different one for my daughter's room, was £25 more but the mattress is extremely comfortable and no wooden slats to worry about - divan base.

hi i think these are the same company i got my bed from last time posted on hukd, right let me tell you the headboard was cardboard and so was the foot board, if you sat on footboard it would make crack noices etc the back of headboard was not leather only cloth, second i phoned them up they didnt believe me at all so spoke to manager, they were happy to refund me IF I RETURNED AT OWN COST, now that costs alot so i travelled all the was 80 miles i think cost of £35 fuel to return the bed and get my money back from ebay, i lost on the fuel. i went in their office/ showroom, nice beds tho but none had leather at back of headboard!! they said this was faulty. i have had faux beds before from homebase and was 100% better made better quality, since i returned this i got 1 from argos over 2 years now and still going, i WOULD NEVER BUY A FAUX BED WITHOUT LOOKING AT IT, there are loads of shops in your towns selling cheap beds but i dont mean bensons for beds or DFS i mean the small retail ones, now this is a long post

How the heck has this got so hot with all the terrible reviews, looking for a new bed but this sounds like a definite avoid. Good effort @ the post tho op.

I hope they have a big warehouse as they have sold over 100 today alone. I bought but have left them a message to cancelled mine. I hope they head it. Shame ebay isn't like Amazon where you have the opportunity to cancel before it has been sent.

also had problems with this company delivered half the bed, then delviered the other half which was damaged, but did then delvier right part after 3 days was a hassle though... bed is ok qualitiy pretty much as the same in image but space underneth to put boxes if you lift it up, although they said the space was bigger i suppose that is also crap..

plenty bed companies on ebay are ok. bought a divan with 4 drawers and a 10" thick mattress. memory foam & 1500 pocket sprung i think. £350 roughly. best thing i ever bought. ive always said, buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes , cause if your not in one , your in the other

Do memory foam beds have springs? I don't think they should have as its a solid block of foam.

I have a sneaking suspicion your DIY skills are to blame for your wooden slats issue. Mine are the same as pictured and with the black little cup holders for each of the wooden slats. None have every fallen out despite me jumping on my bed after a night shift or rumpy pumpy with the missus.

They don't, but this is only partly memory foam. It's a sprung mattress with a memory-foam layer, so if madcap27 can feel the spings, it's either a really poor mattress or he/she has it upside down.

Haha, maybe, but as you have said in another comment these beds aren't that hard to put together, and considering I can measure up, cut up and drill in new wooden slats (that have fixed the problem), I think that qualifies me to have the difficult skills needed to operate the one Allen Key that puts this bed together.

Should I say that the slats I received are terrible, they didn't feel strong enough to hold a child let alone two adults and a mattress. It's good to see that there are people who haven't had problems with this bed though.

**** bed. Mattress is spring with a built in 10mm foam topper. I'm looking for another already after 2 weeks.

We usually assume cheap = heat.

What we might not realise is the possibility this product is worth a lot less than its seemingly cheap price..
